Lodgings in Ambleside

The all-you-can-eat breakfast was delicious! The location was particularly breathtaking, allowing us to relax and enjoy the countryside. I would 100% recommend the visit.

Quiz night was great fun even for we Americans. Meals were excellent and breakfast offerings were generous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Central location in Ambleside was great.

It's a wonderful clean place. It has a huge kitchen. The facilities are great. Free water is available. It is a very nice foundation hostel by the lake. But the internet is very bad. I ask you to fix it.

Excellent location. Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

The ambience was warm and inviting, great views, the rooms were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The staff were courteous, professional, well-trained, and always willing to help with a smile. They made our stay comfortable, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. We would be delighted to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable experience.

The room was perfect for travelling with kids, the bunkbed was in a separate space away from the main room and bed. The breakfast was good, the staff were so friendly and kind to our daughter and happy to steam some milk for her to drink!

Location. It is in the middle of green fields. You wake up to a very nice view.

Love the charm of this place and the history. It feels very cozy something I always look for in a hotel, staff were super super friendly, warm and accommodating. I wish I remembered the name of the man helping us but I forgot to ask! He was great though.

Room and furnishings were nice, very clean and bathroom was a nice size. Four-poster bed was small but manageable. Dining room downstairs was a huge surprise on how beautiful it was with the furnishings in the dining room. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and excellent service. We had a nice mountain view from our room.

We liked how easy it was to check in and out. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom with the big tub and waterfall shower was a beautiful touch.

Accessibility, cleanliness and space in the family room

Beautiful boutique hotel, right in the heart of the town. The rooms were very clean, large washrooms with all the facilities you need for a short stay. The breakfast was wholesome and tasty, with many hot and cold options . It was really comfortable and nice.

Everything was clean and polished, the staff was warm and welcoming. The food was good and the lounges had fireplaces.

Room service for all days and excellent location and service

Lovely clean comfortable room. Great breakfast served by friendly staff. Great location for shops, pubs and restaurants. Bus stop nearby which we used to go to Grasmere for a walk to Grisedale Tarn.

I loved the location. Perfect for accessibility to hikes and strolls. I loved the feel and style of the hostel, I felt very peaceful and relaxed when I was staying here.

Lovely quiet hotel & not far from Ambelside. Breakfast was fantastic & plenty of selection. The Bar looked great & the food smelled very nice but sadly I didn't try any. I would defo recommend a stay here, plenty of coffee etc in the room & the bathroom had plenty of soaps, towels etc. They also let me leave my car there after I checked out & looked after my car keys. A very enjoyable stay.
