Lodgings in Penrith

The perfect location to break our journey when travelling from our home in North Wales to a holiday in South Scotland. Only 9 miles from Tebay Services, ideal for a quick meal before checking in. Hotel is very new and immaculate.

Breakfast was awesome, as well as the other food I ordered while there. The most solicitous staff and ownership, truly wonderful experience. Highly, highly recommend!

Town centre and baeutiful building

An old authentic house in a village, with big garden and space for parking. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

The staff, the room, the bar and the breakfast.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Great craic!

Staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable.

George and Dragon is a beautifully restored historic Airbnb. Everything about our stay was perfect. I look forward to returning again someday!

Easy parking, great restaurant, new clean rooms.

The property was very clean. Having a driveway for parking was extremely useful as was having more than one bathroom.

e with a river, shop, hepful garage and pub

We couldn’t recommend this accommodation more. Cleonie is a fantastic host, so helpful and friendly. The overall accommodation has everything you could want, including a decent size fridge, incredibly comfy bed, a little TV and WiFi as well as plenty of pots, plates etc to cook with. It is an amazing location, close to supermarkets and some of the most beautiful parts of the Lakes but is a real tranquil spot - enjoy the hot tub, once you get the hang of it (thanks to Cleonie for showing us to load it full of wood). The best part - the resident goats!!

Staff were very accommodating. Room was comfortable.

Quiet area, friendly owners and staff, excellent food

What wasn't there to like... It was exceptional in every way

Can’t fault it, perfect last minute stop when traveling and a super comfy stay.

1 Very nice clean cozy rooms. 2 Helpful friendly manager & staff. 3 Great friendly Chefs. 4 Great food using local products.

Lovely property, we travelled with my elderly father and he had the accessibility room and slept really well in the main building and had no complaints. The staff were excellent, room lovely and clean, breakfast was a full English and eggs Benedict, both cooked perfectly.

First class customer service from the moment I arrived until I left. Genuinely superb.

Beautiful new place with comfortable bed and adorable interior. There were towel warmers!

The house is beautiful and Sue is a great hostess.

Excellent facilities, spotless really lovely comfortable furnishings.

Everything! If I could give this place more than 10 I would. All the little hidden touches around the room and cottage were delightful. The bed was amazing and everything felt fresh and luxurious.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts, nothing was to much trouble. We arrived late but received a warm welcome and had a very cozy nights stay. The bed was very comfortable, excellent shower, all the amenities you expect plus added touch of some home baking with the tea and coffee which was lovely. Great breakfast in the morning too! This was the perfect place for us to stop off on our drive to Scotland.

Friendly people, comfortable room, great food.

Phil is a great host, facility is comfortable.
