Our room had a Great view of the mountains and paragliding activities. It’s location is beside the Interlaken West Station, which is an easy access to our next destination. Excellent value for money. A rare feeling, that the hotel really cares about you. Absolutely recommended. This is a wonderfully renovated village hotel, which now is perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. We used it on the Easter weekend for hiking in Jura. The location offers no views, but instead there is a couple of train stations nearby (one 2, another 7 minutes walking distance). Because of this, a great variety of hiking destinations in Jura are in easy reach. Excellent soundproofing, rooms were really quiet. The double room was very spacious, a single room smaller but sufficient. Nice modern and practical set up with a very good lighting. Rooms are air conditioned. Coffee machine with the capsules replenished. Excellent cleaning. Nice and spacious bathroom in the double room. Great supply of toiletries for the level of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Good middle-priced restaurant with a very friendly staff, with good to perfect English. As a special feature - despite the restaurant being very popular, hotel guests always get a guaranteed table. We have stayed in a lot of Swiss hotels outside big cities, but this is probably our best experience ever.

La Cibourg was ideal for us. We were a party of 5: my husband and I, two adult children, and a grandparent. We rented a bungalow with two bedrooms and a room in the large chalet by the restaurant. Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, the linens soft and plentiful, and breakfast each morning at the restaurant was delightful. Staff was kind and very helpful. Animals were adorable. We had a car to get us back and forth to La Chaux-de-Fonds, about 10 minutes away, where we were visiting friends. We loved it and would return in an instant!

The food and drinks provided in the room were beyond exceptional! We did not even utilize the free breakfast, because there was so much food in the room when we arrived! The view was to die for, and Christine and Petra went above and beyond for us. I 100% recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the Interlaken area!

This was a drop-dead gorgeous location and property. We stayed here the night of our mini elopement and it was an absolute dream. They also have a partnership with the hotel next door to have access to their spa facilities. This was a wonderful surprise upon arrival. We're sad to have only spend one night here, but it was everything we hoped for.

    The staff were so kind and showed us around the hotel and to our room during check in. The pool, restaurant, room service and breakfast were on point! The view is just amazing and staff were super helpful at recommending some great trails! The location is ideal if you just want to walk around town or go hiking. Adelboden did not feel so full of tourist which was nice if you are really looking to get some R&R. Putting my name on the TV during check into our room was a nice little touch. Well worth the stay.

    A perfect 10! Adelboden is in a most peaceful & serene valley with many activities & viewpoints to enjoy. Yet, it is not over-run with tourists. A respectful, kind & friendly atmosphere prevails. Staff is always there to serve you. Enjoy a fabulous breakfast & quality dinner choices. What a pleasure to return to the Adler after a day’s activities & hit the sauna or whirlpools, then a relaxing swim before dinner. This is a real vacation in my opinion. I am longing to return already!

    It looks like heaven...so beautiful, but stay out of the main village for accommodations. Shop at the small local shops on the fringe. Do grocery shop to save on meals, Coop and Aldi are cheap and they the have better priced souvenirs! Be respectful of the local culture and embrace it all!

    Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for.

    Swiss alpine village - just what I was looking for. We had sunny days and a couple of rainy days, both were breathtaking in their own right. Nice connection too to Murren, Wengen, and Interlaken. At night, when the day tours have left, you can have the village "all for yourself" and that experience was almost divine.

    Wengen location was great and not as busy compared to Grindelwald. No cars allowed and quieter location. It’s definitely more of a ski village feel. The train station is easily accessible to all lodging. Only downside is the lack of restaurant options compared to larger villages such as Grindelwald. Shopped at COOP for additional snacks and food when needed. Overall had a great stay at Wengen.

    The apartment was spacious and had a terrific view from the balcony. Free parking was close by and checking in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the refrigerator was good sized. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 adult guests.     We only stayed at Brienz for one night en route between other places that we were visiting. The area has a lot of character with lovely old buildings and is on the shore of one of the many big lakes. It was very quiet during our brief stay, being in the period between the summer and winter seasons for tourists. We had just one evening meal which was a very tasty pizza.

    Good touristic opportunities in walking distance, like the waterfall, Aare gorge, cable car to go to a village with very nice view of the mountains and a place to drink a coffee, even on Sunday. In town you can have a coffee only in restaurants on Sunday, or in a kind of bar which did not give me a good impression.

    Not worth the money to book accommodation for even a one...

    Not worth the money to book accommodation for even a one night stay. Only cheap & tacky shops, lacks character & charm - very small (but there are so many lovely quaint towns in Switzerland!), & forgettable. Was recommended an Indian restaurant by a local - & that too was lousy :(
