My husband and I stayed on the top floor of this hotel for 6 glorious nights. The staff were all top notch. We have zero complaints. Our time in Murren and the surrounding Berner Oberland will be one of our favorite memories for the rest of our lives. The views from the room, and everywhere else you go, is like a picture postcard. If we are ever lucky enough to return, we would stay at the Alpina without question. Roger was particularly terrific!

First of all its location. Pretty japan garden in the courtyard. The breakfast was tasty. It was a great luck for us to catch the room in this hotel on the day of check-in, because we had to stay in this town after staying in the Interlaken hospital.

Great facility, room, bathroom, restaurant, quality buffet breakfast beginning at 07:00. Smiling and friendly staff. 121 bus runs to the train station and on to Grindelwald Terminal from in front of the hotel. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

Beautiful location and views, delicious food. Cozy atmosphere; loved the restaurant with games for the family. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, seemed recently renovated. Great for ski in ski out and sledding. Family friendly; our six year old has decided he wants to work for Chris when he grows up :P

Location, Location, Location In the middle of station and Grindelwald First - a long street with shops, cafés, restaurants and parks. In a neighborhood of Swiss chalets, which adds the authenticity and best view. Service, Service, Service Here the management itself rocks. We went down to lobby to ask for help - on everything actually, and Panagiotis at once led us to 'An epic travel in Europe'.

I rarely write reviews but this hotel deserves a five plus review. Every single thing was exceptional. The family run business was evident. Smiles galore and super helpful from booking tickets to the Top of Europe to ski passes. Afternoon complimentary cakes and cozy fire place. The most amazing breakfast with soft boiled eggs, any coffee drink, bacon, ham, fresh fruit, cut to eat bread. And the amazing Mountain View’s. Bathrobes, amazing comforters and make up mirrors. Not to mention pick up and drop off from the train station by Pedro from Portugal, who was super helpful and fun. New Years Eve from our balcony watching the fireworks over the mountains was magical. I cannot say enough about how I loved this place.

I stayed in room 23 on the night of 11–12 September. The hotel was very clean, neat, and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen, and just a short walk from the train station. The highlight was the balcony of room 23 – the view of the valley and waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was also excellent with a nice variety.

This was a really lovely inn in a beautiful spot. There are views of the alps from all around. It's an easy few stops on the bus from Interlaken Ost, with a bus stop pretty close to the inn. The food and staff were just wonderful. The restaurant serves fantastic regional dishes that were very high quality.

Interlaken is a great place to visit!

Interlaken is a great place to visit! It is central for many amazing places to visit locally and further afield thanks to great train and bus links! We stayed her to visit Jungfraujoch, but could have stayed much longer! We plan to go back to visit the Marmot trail at Grindelwald! Here you can see the Marmots close up!

Grindelwald is not over crowded, it is convenient, easy to go to many mountains. Grindelwald is very beautify, the green mountains, the cows, the Glacier, the trains on mountains. Everything I saw was a beautiful picture. Also it is a good place to do paragliding, and it was so much fun.

We visited Grindewald First (a little crowded for our liking). The next day we hiked the Murren via Ferrata (wonderful!) and then rented bikes in Lauterbrunnen and went to Trummelbach. That was my favorite day. What a great town with nice restaurants and other services. We really appreciated how walkable everything was.

We absolutely loved Wengen and are planning to come back next year! Centrally located to all of the amazing hiking and mountain adventures in the area. Some might think it’s touristy but we found it delightful.

Being car-free, Muerren is perfect for a peaceful break.

Being car-free, Muerren is perfect for a peaceful break. The mountain views are spectacular. The ascent to the top of the Schilthorn, with its own panoramic view, justifies the effort or the price. There are many healthy walks and excursions to be had. The village provides a wondrous glimpse into a Swiss village from a former age. There are many day-visitors, but I would recommend staying in the village itself to get the fullest experience.

Very picturesque with lovely houses and gardens. It is peaceful, and just outside the town centre. Local buses run twice and hour (always on time), taking 7 minutes to reach the bus and train station.

A very pretty village situated perfectly to experience everything the region has to offer. Very easy bus, train connections for getting about. Various places to eat and two good supermarkets plus a tourist info in the village. Very friendly and helpful people.

Bönigen was a wonderful place for our family trip. It felt peaceful, scenic, and much calmer than staying directly in Interlaken, but still close enough to everything. Our favorite spots were the lakeside area along Lake Brienz, the walking paths by the water, and the Bönigen lido.

Very quiet with limited food choices. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. The gondolas & bus transport were not at all intimidating. Not a lot to do there, but breathe in the scenery & enjoy! We loved it as a base town for other activities.

Interlaken is a must go to area. We enjoyed wondering around the old town in Luzern, hiking on top of the mountain Pilatus, the view from the Chateau Gutsch, good food and simple yet beautiful hiking trails.
