Excellent accommodation - clean and excellent facilities. The staff were superb. Breakfast was excellent. VERY short walk to Summerleaze beach and sea pool, both of which we spent a lot of time at. We also very much enjoyed cocktails on the terrace, particularly watching the sunset on our final night. Bliss!

The hotel and facilities are very good, the only thing that lets the hotel down is the very poor service in the hotel main restaurant, we waited a long time for a table then over 45 minutes between starters and main course on two occasions. Breakfast plates etc. not removed between courses.

A few years since we last visited and it has changed. Seems to have lost some of its local charm and large parts of the town are now holiday lets, so I did not see many 'locals'. Plenty of choices for food from bistros to old fashioned pub grub. We ate at the Union pub in Fore Street on 4 nights and had something different each time, Every time it was lovely. Used our bus pass to go to Penzance for the day on a Saturday. Was told that it may have been better to go during the week when the markets were on.

This is a pleasant seaside town with plenty of restaurants of differing levels, walkable , but many sinfrastructure repairs being carried out , many sidewalks ar in a poor state , so be careful not to trip . There are great bus services to many attractive points , the rail service is excellent , easy to get to St. Ives , buses go regularly to Lands End, there is a great walk along the seafront to the east of the town. A varirty of stores and the bus station and railway station are located very close to the main shopping street.

Great town any time of the year with lots to do for all age groups. Some amazing food choices whether you're food-on-the-going it or looking to sit down. Various budgets to suit everyone. Packed with lots of choices for a drink or three! Shops aplenty from essentials to clothes to gifts. Lovely beaches and a castle.

St Austell is a run down and neglected town hard to navigate and not much to see. Charlestown is a delightful harbor with a good choice of restaurants and bars a bit of a shame that the harbor is being worked on but it has to be done. Then further south you have Pentewan a beautiful beach within a holiday complex lots of activities for the little ones and a good beach cafe.

Looe was such a quaint and pretty little town with lots of little shops and restaurants to visit. The main beach area looked fabulous but it does not allow dogs on it so we took our spaniel to a nearby beach with rockpools. We also visited Polperro and the Eden Project which were near-by. Most restaurants don't allow dogs though and require advance booking during busy periods. Most pubs allow dogs in and most provide water and some provide a basket for them. There seemed to be adequate parking and Looe has a pretty train station located a few minutes from the centre.

Tintagel is wonderful, and it’s very easy to get around, even when travelling to nearby places such as Boscastle. I visited the Old Post Office, an amazing building that is absolutely worth seeing. And, of course, Tintagel Castle! The walk there is spectacular, and the views from the castle are breathtaking. The castle itself is fantastic, with an incredible atmosphere.

Padstow is a busy tourist location, early morning is the best time to pop out for breakfast/coffee before the crowds arrive although most places do not open until 10.00 am. The surrounding area has so much more to offer, coastal walks / bicycle rides / paddle boarding and surfing.
