St ives is lovely only one problem is the parking we have been to Cornwall many times but never been able to walk ark so this time we decided to stay in st ives with a parking space and I think this is essential if you are thinking of staying in ST ives the property you stay in must have a parking space, lovely just to sit down on the sea front and take in the beautiful views, lots of nice shops to walk round plenty of places to eat with lots of variety, boat trips and boat hire we loved it going to st ives again ChristmasGuest review byDeniseUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Loved the interesting shops and good selection of cafes, bars, restaurants etc. The fish and chips at Harbour Lights were great and we really enjoyed the tapas restaurant Bodega. Able to explore everything in Falmouth on foot if you are based close enough, parking the car every day can be costly. Enjoyed getting the ferry to explore St Mawes. Josh of Wake & Ski was a great instructor for our teenagers trying water skiing for the first time. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary at Gweek was lovely, and just a half hour drive away. Everybody was very friendly, there's a lovely atmosphere in Falmouth.Guest review byJulie - 8.0

The best places to visit were Mevagissey and Charlestown, they both had an old world charm. Fowey was too commercialised and we failed to find somewhere to eat in Looe on Tuesday evening, which was surprising as it looked like a lovely place to spend some time.Guest review byRoryUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Apart from the cathedral there was not much else . We had based ourselves in Truro to visit Tresillik National Trust which in spite of being in great location was rather dissappointing having visited Lanhydrock earlier in the day which was superb. The house in Tressilick was very limited and appeared to be mainly used in lieu of the more usual excellent NT restaurant.Guest review byRogerUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The parking is a bit pricey, crooklets car park £4.60 for 2 hours, tried to book a table at Brandon arms, phoned on Tuesday day time,to book, said for 2 people, said 7 pm was booked, offered 4.45 pm or 8.45,didn't go tried again on Thursday day time same request, told no tables but only at 4.45 or 8.45,what a coincidence I thought, then it clicked,if I ordered a table for 4 or more I would have got a table at 7pm,in my book I call it ,owner being greedy and choosey, manager appeared arrogant and not friendlyGuest review byAdrianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Looe has a bustling high street, with lots of shops, cafes, pubs. It is also very attractive with a river flowing through the town. Nice coastal walk from Looe to Polperro, frequent busses back to Looe. Looe beach was sandy and good for swimming, rock-pooling etc. For surfing, Newquay was only 90 drive by car. Boat-trips available from the harbour - we did the 'Big Three' trip on a rib. Interesting, small museum about the history of Looe run by very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Padstow is a busy tourist location, early morning is the best time to pop out for breakfast/coffee before the crowds arrive although most places do not open until 10.00 am. The surrounding area has so much more to offer, coastal walks / bicycle rides / paddle boarding and surfing.Guest review byNicolaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tintagel is wonderful, and it’s very easy to get around, even when travelling to nearby places such as Boscastle. I visited the Old Post Office, an amazing building that is absolutely worth seeing. And, of course, Tintagel Castle! The walk there is spectacular, and the views from the castle are breathtaking. The castle itself is fantastic, with an incredible atmosphere.Guest review byDeboraUnited Kingdom
