Excellent service and facilities. We were made feel very welcome by outstanding staff. Special thanks to Liana💜. The breakfast was superb. The pool and private beach gave a very relaxing vibe. We were lucky to get an upgrade of our room without asking for it! I would like to return any time.

The staff were very friendly, gave us a lot of good recommendations about restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was unbelievable, like we are the first ones to book it. Perfect location, couple of minutes on foot from the city center and area with shops and restaurants. Rooms are very cozy and comfortable, and breakfast is excellent. Hotel staff is very accomodating and polite. Parking on the street is very limited around the hotel, but there is a parking garage right across the hotel with a discounted price of 12eur/24h for hotel guests. Big recommendation.

I really have to say, I'm travaling a lot (4-6 times per year to the different Countrys-Places) and in the most of the time, the hotels doesn't look or fullfil the expectations. Always its something, which gives you the feeling, that the description or pictures are not 100% right or matching with the real situation. That's why I said, now I will write a review, because they really deserved that at all! From the reception employees till to the cleaning ladies! When we arrived, we stood in the front of the new building. We get a friendly welcome, nice room and walked to the beach. I walked around and checked the pool areas and dine opportunities. I really was surprised that everything looked same like pictures and descrition. I like that is a hotel size between Boutique Hotel and grand Resort. If you are looking for a Hotel with good chill opportunities and good food, thats your place. We loved the food (try the Gyros Chicken and Mussels which are cooked in Uzo), furnishing style, pool and beach area, employees (Eleni by the Pool area, very friendly women) and the vibes of all of them😀 You are really close to Heraklion City, 10min by taxi around 15Euro per way and 20min to the airport around 30Euro per way. Spa Massage first 10min are for free, we booked 30min more (40min) was also really good. The a la Carte restaurant was a dream of location and ambience, also food with ***** level. We were there for 3 nights and I wished we can stay longer, so that means....For sure I will come back again! 🥰

Beautiful hotel. The pool was quite big! And the pool área is really nice to chill in. Our room was clean, well equiped and beautiful. Staff went above and beyond to help us with our every need. You will have a superb view while eating breakfast which is homemade. Parking in the área can be difficult but old town is just 10 minutes down the street and when you want to go back you can catch a taxi for 5 euro which we did every night. Stay here as many nights as you can!!!

    Where can I start, excellent Host Manolis .

    Where can I start, excellent Host Manolis . The best caring host I have seen so far. Always helpful, sitting outside so no one blocks the driveway. There is a Mini Market downstairs and a coffee place next door. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms and the apartment are huge. Convenient to all locations, very helpful Manolis to tell you how to get there and where to go. I highly recommend this place near the beach, you can walk there. Will stay again when I go to Chania. It also has a bathtub and a shower separately, which is very rare, and a washing machine. It's exactly what everyone needs. Thank you, Manolis, for making my stay so wonderful and non-stressful.

    There is a lot of History , the people we met were very friendly, food was great and it was easy to see the city on the buses. The museums were amazing and interesting . We were fascinated by ancient technology museum! We could have stated much longer as we still had heaps to do ! We will be back !!

    Amazing Resort and extensive facilities on site. Staff are amazing. Also one of the best mani/pedi I ever had at the salon. Resort is about 30 minutes from airport, and would say for a 5* Europe resort, this lives up to expectation, but don't compare to a 5* Caribbean or Mexico Resort, so bear that in mind. We stayed at the Ocean view room which had spectacular views. The Rocky beach was just fantastic with the lounges and beds, and considering how busy this resort is, never noticed it and never felt overcrowded, and you never had to reserve benches or lounges by the beach or pool, there was more than enough to go round and even more spare. A la Carte restaurants that were amazing and my favourites are Umi (Sushi), Azzuro (Italian), Thalassa for breakfast & lunch, Poseidon. A real let down of the restaurants was Nami, only delicious items were the Starters. Staff at this resort were fantastic overall, but special thanks to the following: Anastasi, Konstantina, Angelina, Ritsa and Lucas.

    Best place to stay when in Crete if you are looking for a mix of relaxation at the beach and exploring the island. Great sandy beaches, cool beach bars, beautiful old town filled with vibrant clubs and restaurants. The town is ideally placed so that you can rent a car, pay for an excursion or even use public transport (which is beautufly organised) to explore wild beaches but Chania and Heraklion as well.

    Agios Nikolaos is well worth a visit, this being our second time here after a day trip last year. This year we stopped here for 2 nights at the end of a tour around the island. We could probably have stayed for another night, 2 more at the most. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to visit, both during the day and night. Shops are great and beaches within 5 min walk or drive.

    Kissamos offered us a wonderful mix of relaxation and local charm. The nightlife was a pleasant surprise, with cozy bars and lively tavernas where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Evening walks through the town square and the nearby streets filled with local shops and traditional products were some of the highlights of our stay. It's a great place for couples looking for a laid-back yet authentic Cretan experience.

    Malia is a great base for exploring eastern Crete,as it is well served by public transport,car hire is easy and reasonable,but if you just want to eat,drink ,sunbathe and play in a pool,on a beach or in a club or bar it is great too.

    Difficult to judge because we came early in the season when there was a cold wind blowing and not all the places were open. However, there didn't seem to be many places to eat [not a problem for us as there was one excellent place, though would be a problem peak season] . There were a number of apparently abandoned and ill-maintained buildings, which made the place appear less attractive.

    A very good base for very many superb beaches in southern Crete, with a nice beach within the town, some great shops and very good eating options both within the town and the surrounding villages. Not spoiled by mass tourism as many other places in the island, yet neither too remote and hard to reach. Just perfect.
