Lively town with loads of great shops, bars and restaurants, to suit all tastes, particularly in the port area. Travelling around is easy with a good regular bus service which takes you to all the beautiful beaches. Had a really relaxing holiday and would definitely return.Guest review byJosieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We loved it, the water was warm, great for swimming- And sunbathing. It was just the right mix of relaxing environment but with enough cafes and restaurants. No shopping other than touristy things though, one or two “boutiques “,Guest review byView From Abroad.Australia - 10.0

Agia Anna was a lovely location, beautiful setting and we loved the fact you could eat dinner on the beach as the restaurants all set up on the beach in the early evening. The place had a cool vibe and felt undiscovered. there were plenty of places to eat and a supermarket to buy essentials. If you are self catering you would want to stop off in the main town before arriving. AB supermarkets had everything.Guest review byDan WhitneyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The beach is a very short walk with chairs and umbrellas available. Lots of fish offshore for snorkeling. Also, some nice restaurants and beach bars along the Sea. Don't miss the mountain towns like Chalki.Guest review byJ.OrrUnited States - 8.0

Mikri Vigla is a quiet town with a couple bakeries and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets and beaches, but you should have a car / moped to get around. The bus from Naxos Chora is infrequent and drops off at the beach, not the town proper.Guest review byDanielUnited States - 10.0

Stelida is a purpose built hilltop penninsula for accomodation and walking distance to a lovely beach if the north wind is not blowing. Only two restaurant options to walk to at night but it has easy access to hill towns and beaches to the south by car. It's out of the hectic vibes of Naxos Town and very quiet at night so a good night sleep is ensured!Guest review byVICTORIAUnited States - 10.0
We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach.
We liked the premises and quiet sandy beach. There is free parking on premise and some very good restaurants nearby. Make sure that when you get the sea view room, you ask for the direct and not the side views room.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

This is a special, hidden gem on Naxos, away from all the sunbeds and noise from the busy beaches. The 2 beaches here were absolutely fantastic. You reach the town by bus from the port of Naxos and ride through the mountains to reach this town. It's such a lovely bus ride, but if you easily get car sick, I recommend taking car sick medication before leaving. You get around the tiny town on foot; everything is in one spot. It is difficult to park here, so strongly recommend coming by bus, it's cheap and it runs a few times per day. There is a minimarket, a souvenir shop, and a handful of tavernas and coffee shops right on the beach! Our favorite restaurant by far was Kalimera, true Greek food. One beach is a sandy beach and the other has rocks, not as easy to get in and out but worth the effort. The water is crystal clear.Guest review bytravellingbeeSweden - 10.0

Quiet beach with three Tavernas withing walking distance plus some smaller food service locations. There is a mini market where you can purchase essentials. It was very windy in June, less so we were told in September. No bus service, we hired a car but if you are prepared to walk up and doen the beach not absolutely essential.Guest review byChrisUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We enjoyed visiting St.
We enjoyed visiting St. George (Agios Georgios) Beach, which has shallow waters for young children Also, the Temple of Apollo was very nearby and has some amazing views. Our favourite part was taking a walk to the Castle (Kastro) in the Old Town . It's beautiful narrow cobbled streets with quaint shops along the way lead you to the breathtaking views when you reach the top. Remember to take a moment to absorb the views from this height. It's worth every moment. There are also boat trips you can take from the harbour - with day trips to Santorini or Mykonos daily.Guest review byAnitaUnited Kingdom
