Our room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Everything is very clean, food is delicious (we had breakfast, tried lunch once and had a dinner few times). Perfect to arrive after a long train ride and have a short stop at Grosseto. The Hotel is literally 1 minute away from the train station. The personel in the Hotel was very helpful as well to any of my doubts and needs. The breakfast was simple but still met its value. Simplicity is good too.

I love the connection with the nearby cities and the connection with the beach is perfect. I felt very safe. We love that there were a lot of things to do in the camp. The staff was very nice and kind. The beds were very comfortable. And also my dog was very happy and the dogs are very well accepted and there is a long beach and you can have a lot of space. We were also fascinated about pine trees and that there was a lot of shadow during our stay.

It’s very cute and quaint with a variety of camping types (personal tents and campers but also rentable mobile homes and tent houses). I love that there is not auto traffic though the campground which makes it quiet and safe for walking. The mobile home we rented was clean and comfortable. All linens were included which was appreciated as we were traveling by bike. The beach was really nice and the water was very shallow for a long ways out.

Impeccably run campsite on beach in remote, non-touristy area. We admired the design of our 5 person lodge tent, with 2 BR and BA, full kitchen and deck. Great private restaurant on grounds and a store, very quiet, friendly. The area seemed safe since no one locked up their bikes except electric bikes. Good compact design of site, not too far to walk to the beach.

Such a fun family friendly environment. We rented bikes to ride around camp (though it wasn't too large to just walk) which was super fun. The beach was really nice, our cabin was super clean and modern. With an onsite grocery store, two restaurants, beach bar, rental chairs and more, you don't have to leave the site for anything.

Quaint, quiet town with a great vibe. Has one of the top rated steak houses in the world! Dinner, gelato, and morning coffee/pastries were excellent ... everywhere we ate was terrific. Piazza is beautiful at night and has a cute, harmless fox who wanders around the bushes.

PItigliano is the perfect Tuscan hill town and the perfect base for exploring this area. Full of real artist and artisans, not just cheap touristy crap, but real gems. Good restaurants. Charming narrow, twisty streets and breathtaking views.
There are so many things to see and do in the area: the Etruscan tombs, Cascata de Saturnia (ancient Travertine hot springs used for over 3,000 years, free and so fun),as well as other hill towns. But Pitigliano is the perfect base and we wish we had stayed here for the full 4 days we had instead of moving after just two days.

Grosseto is a hidden gem . A beautiful Medioeval walled town with a town square and ancient cathedral in the centre. There are many good quality shops, restuarants and bars to choose from. It is also only 15 minutes drive to Lido di Grosseto with its beautiful sandy beach and clear waters.

Orbetello is a sweet town with wonderful shops and cafes and streets to explore. Parking was easy, as we visited in March (off season). We enjoyed walking along the waterfront and eating several meals at Tratorria Marcella e Pasquale in the main piazza. Gorgeous, welcoming hosts and delicious homemade pasta meals and local wine.

Port Santo Stefano is a great little seaport town to visit. We stayed late September when the town was a little quieter after the summer season which was perfect for us. The weather was beautiful and warm but not too hot and the sea was still quite warm for swimming. There are quite a few hidden beaches to explore which require a small hike to get to which will not disappoint. Highly recommend visiting.

We loved staying in this bed and breakfast place! It is family owned business and they all do everything they can, above and beyond, so that their guests will feel comfortable and happy. The building was recently renovated and beautiful, the room was big and very comfortable, and the location could not be better! Few minutes from the beach, restaurants, and the promenade.

Roccatederighi is a small walled town in Tuscany with mainly stone houses in the medieval parts, and a newer area with shops and other facilities in the lower part of town. It's a fascinating 'borgo' which is mainly residential and many of the houses have not yet been restored unlike so many walled towns in Tuscany, although it adds to the charm. The town is off the beaten track and not somewhere you come across while en route to somewhere else, although the beach at Follonica is about half an hour's drive away, amongst others, and you can see Elba and Giglio on a clear day if you walk up to visit the church at the top of the huge rock the town is built around. The medieval festival in early August is well worth a visit. At an altitude of 600m above sea-level, it means cooler evenings and nights and sea breezes help with the summer heat. There are a few 'trattorie' and bars in the lower town serving good local food and no shortage of places to eat in nearby towns, including a vineyard where you can taste the local wine and enjoy a good meal. We can recommend Trattoria Nada, and Osteria da Giannino for light snacks or pasta or a full Italian meal with really good local produce. Cars are not permitted in the old town so walking up is the only option, but after an initial steep rise the road levels out somewhat, only the locals are allowed to use 'Ape' cars for transportation.
