Our stay at La Marina Resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The facilities, restaurants, and activities were all very well organized and incredibly entertaining. Honestly, you could spend your entire vacation inside the resort—it has everything you could possibly need!
We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like mid-stay cleaning and towel changes every 3–4 days. There are several restaurants, cafés, and shops on-site, offering great variety and all at very reasonable prices.
The water parks were amazing! Our bungalow in the Bali Village zone was located right next to the Bali Pool, which had such a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
In one word — highly recommended! We’ll definitely be coming back to La Marina Resort.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally professional and kind, making us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our entire visit.
The hotel boasts very good facilities that cater to all ages. It is very good for a family stay, especially for children. my little girl absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave!
Everything was clean, well-maintained, and designed to make a family vacation stress-free and enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

The area of the village is very comfortable. Lots of shade, which allows you to stay cool even on the hottest days.
Nice little house/tent with everything you need (kitchen, shower, air conditioning and a wide terrace)
Good sandy beach was close to our house - just 1 minute to the sea.
Free canoes and paddle boards on the beach
Nice seafood restaurant + pizza and ice-cream for kids directly on the beach.

The way the whole place was within the woodland. It was beautifully designed amongst the trees.
Lots of great activities for kids and a great atmosphere all round.
So many different pools to choose from if one was busy you could always find space at another.
Showers were great with great water pressure, beds were comfortable with clean bedding so all got a good night's sleep.

The most beautiful place I have ever seen. You do have a good amount of walking to do within this particular resort. Lots of inclining and descending. It is definitely worth it. This has been on my bucket list for 20 years and we finally made it happen.

My family and I loved how clean the structure was and that in difference from all other camping places, this one provided with all the essentials (soap, shampoo, blankets, and towels) the place was also well equipped with many shops.

Barcelona is one of the most impressive destinations I’ve visited! October was a wonderful time to explore: it felt less crowded, and the weather was comfortable for long walks through the city centre.
The architecture was a real highlight, especially the breathtaking Sagrada Família, the beautiful Sant Pau hospital complex and museum, and the colorful Park Güell. These were some of the most memorable places of our trip! Wandering through the historic streets and discovering charming squares was equally enjoyable.
The delicious food made the experience even better, from tapas and fresh seafood to local specialties. Barcelona is a wonderful destination for anyone who enjoys architecture, great food, and exploring on foot!

Athens is a fascinating city, rich in history with ancient ruins and historical sites throughout. Staying in both Pagrati and Syntagma allowed us to experience different sides of the city, from the more local neighbourhood atmosphere to the lively city centre. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés and local eateries, so finding somewhere to eat was easy. We mainly used Bolt to get around and found it a convenient way to travel around Athens.

We were surprised at just how big and historic the old town is. There was so much to do from museums to the harbour and beach. The market is excellent and the local food and wine was amazing. The centre was very clean and welcoming. We felt very safe. We didn't venture into the suburbs and we avoided the tower block hotel beach areas so I can't comment on those but the old town centre is one of the best we have visited.

Valencia is such an amazing city and definitely one of my favourite places in Europe! It's less touristy than Madrid or Barcelona, but has so much to offer. I absolutely love the combination of greenery, city life, and beautiful beaches. The food is fantastic, the shopping is great, and there's plenty of culture and history to explore.
Whether you're planning a weekend getaway with friends, family, or your partner, or even a longer holiday, there's definitely enough to see and do. One place you absolutely shouldn't miss is the Oceanogràfic aquarium!
The only downside is the public transportation, which can be surprisingly difficult to navigate, especially during major events like the Valencia Half Marathon. Information is often only available in Spanish, and the websites and apps aren't particularly user-friendly or well-equipped to handle increased traffic during big events. It can make getting around unnecessarily stressful.
Despite that, Valencia is a wonderful city with so much character, and I would absolutely recommend visiting. It's definitely a place I'd happily return to!

Underground tunnels - very narrow for reference - worthwhile tour.
If you like craft beer places, go to Oak wine and craft beer or Kite, and for an historic, elegant treat, go to Gran Caffè Gambrinus- take cash for tips! Instead of the Alibus (€5) download the ANM transport app and get the 210 bus into town for ca.€1.65.

Quiet area so not as busy as Palma but only a short bus ride away. The beach is fantastic and kept very clean. The Promenade is clean and plenty of eateries at great value - shoutout to the golden tap. And they don’t come out onto the street to harass you to come in. Aquarium is close by and also a large shopping centre a short hop on a bus ride away. The 23 and 25 bus take you into Palma and cost €4

It is a party town!
It is a party town! If you want some piece and quiet, just choose the different place.
I stayed at the Northeast of the town and that was OK.
I did not really like the beach - busy, dirty, noisy.
Also, some strange things about the Inglish pubs. In one pub, a pint costs 2 euros, while in the other, cross the street, the same beer is 4.50 euros. Very wierd for me.

Palermo is a vibrant city, especially around the old town. It is also good for beach trips, we took a trip to Mondello, very picturesque. Unfortunately, I found the city a bit dirty, with litter and dog fouling. The erratic driving is also concerning, as there is no regard to pedestrian crossings.

There’s plenty to see in and around Palma but also great public transport to get to other places such as Soller and Valdermossa.
October was a lovely time to visit as it wasn’t too busy and the weather was still very warm.

We could have passed all our time simply on the wonderful balcony. We saw the sun rise in the morning and the sun set in the evening, not to mention all the beach activities, the sailing and kite surfing etc.
The nearest tram stop was only 200 m away and so easy to use, opening access to the whole of Nice.
