The view is amazing, better than I expected. Not only do you get the view of the scramble crossing but you can also see the Sky Tree and Tokyo tower. Both look amazing during the day and at night. Room is very clean and comfortable bed. Rainfall shower with shower-head and a nice deep bathtub for those who like to relax after long day of shopping around Shibuya. Be sure to get the breakfast as its amazing on the 11th floor restaurant.

Probably, the best experience I had in hotels. Spacious (seriously spacious, especially for Japan) room, all the needed facilities, including big fridge, lounging area, super convenient coffee kettle, and lots of storage space. Very green-conscious. Laundry is on-line payable and controlled. Perfectly located close to all main sites and promenade, but noise insulation is great, so we had fantastic sleep. We had a great deal or the stay and I would definitely stay again when in Yokohama. Btw, if you are arriving by Minatomirai line, head for exit 4, it's just next to the hotel and has elevator (weirdly enough maps send you to the exit 2).

Located about 5 minutes walk from Keikyu-Kawasaki Station (10 minutes for JR Kawasaki Sta.) easy transport from/to Yokohama, around 30 minutes trip depending on the train types. A Food + Shopping Street is located infront of Keikyu-Kawasaki Station. A 7-Eleven is located within a 'very-close' proximity from the hotel, <1 minute walk. Expected standard from APA Group where comfort, convenience and reachability is at maximum.

Metro is easy to use with a suica card.

Metro is easy to use with a suica card. Everything is within 30-40 min max away by metro. Tokyo has something for everyone. Buzzing night life as well as quiet walks and peaceful areas to just soak in the culture and atmosphere. Vegetarians will have to say they are vegan as most veg dishes also will have dashi - fish paste - in it. But there are plenty of places that serve great Japanese vegan food. Vegan Veggie Joga, T's Tantan and Ume no Hana were all exceptional. We used GetYourGuide to see the senso-ji area and it was great - full of information that we would otherwise have not known. We discovered that food can be as expensive in a small couple owned one-room bar as at a big hotel. We learnt to carry our own bag to put our trash in as there are no trash cans on the streets. People are ultra polite and courteous. Please do download a translation app if you do not read or speak japanese as only a few speak English. I ended up not wearing any bright clothing as everyone there wears dark or muted colours. The toilets everywhere (except the Imperial palace public loos!) were great. Water is freely available everywhere - can drink tap water. Do visit the local izakayas( japanese pubs) and try their local cuisine and sake. May need to shop around a bit if you are vegetarian. Pork dumplings and sake - we loved it!

The open air museum is simply a heavyweight coming out of the left field. I didn't expect to find that level and quantity of art in a small village in the Japanese alps, no matter how famous a tourist location it is. It is also extremely easy to get there by bus from most villages in the area. The lake, the Kuzuryū shrine Hongū is more than worth a visit and the water torii is simply iconic. If you are into hiking (I am) there are numerous mountain trails in the close vicinity, but beware: climbing on mount Hakone proper is illegal and dangerous as it is an active volcano and toxic exalations can at times be present. Stick to the observation deck and ropeway if you really want to see Mt. Fuji from a vantage point, or just climb one of the surrounding peaks.

The trip was for Disney so we didnt go to other places really. We ate at Red Lobster, I was disappointed because they didnt have Crab Legs! They had a weak shrimp cocktail with uncleaned shrimp and i had to ask them to remove the shrimp shell. We went to a mall and that was ok, tho getting from ground level to the main floor we had to carry our wagon up stairs, there was no escalator from street to first floor, a minor setback. Navigating to the mall calls for walking through a few buildings zig zagging, again a small setback. oh yea and its cold. Overall the trip was a 8/10 next time if we get a slightly bigger hotell it will be 9/10!

Chiba is an amazing city and because Star Wars Celebration 2025 was held there this year, I had to come and visit. The city is only about an hour away from Tokyo and going there from Chiba was easy to do. Locally speaking, Chiba offers many different places to eat (some of the best donuts I've ever had came from a donut shop called Uni Donuts close to the hotel I stayed at) and a cool Anime hobby store.

Kamakura essentially is a part of the loop between Ofuna and Enoshima. People who come to Kamakura either do so for the shrines/temples OR to stay as a starting point to go to Enoshima. We were the latter. Kamakura gives an impression of a slow paced lifestyle with many interesting and unique shops selling a great variety of things. Kamakura itself has a shopping street which can be quite touristy. Otherwise, it's actually a bustling down with people always on the move. Enoden is definitely a must-take ride. Followed by Shonan Monorail which is an "inverted" track type of monorail. Enoshima by itself can be an entire day trip of shopping, visiting shrines and special locations but require quite a bit of leg strength and stamina. Recommend going for Escar for people who can't climb well. Iwaya Caves is good, but the trip back can be challenging. Enoshima Sea Candle is a must; though at times, the outdoor observatory can be closed and the indoor observatory doesn't have any seats - making the visit very short-lived quickly. Best if you arrange a boat ride out via a route near Iwaya Caves. The shopping streets on the mainland is just as interesting with a lot of unique items and food choices. (that's the street between Enoshima causeway and Enoshima Enoden station)

Funabashi is a perfect slice of genuine Japan.

Funabashi is a perfect slice of genuine Japan. The people there were so kind, and it was a perfect place to see what the lives of the Japanese people are really like. It didn't feel sterilized and curated, it felt genuine. I met the most amazing people on earth there, and it was a joy to wander through the narrow streets of Funabashi seeing different aspects of their culture and city. The people there were very kind and helpful, so if I was ever lost or just wanted to talk it was not hard to find someone who would help. The Funabashi Daijingu felt very spiritual to me, and I truly believe it is a holy place. I was awestruck, and was moved to tears. There were lots of places to eat the local dishes, even an Okinawa-style Izakaya which is my favorite place on earth. If you go there tell the bartender Teddy says hi!
