Hotels in Namibia

This place would be a great weekend get-away from Windhoek,or as it was for us a first stop out of the city on our way to places further abroad. Upon arrival the first thing we saw was a rhino in the road, it was beautiful and a good start to our journey. We loved the 2 bedroom chalet we stayed in - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The lodge itself was well laid out and beautiful, it even had a little driving range to hit balls into the bush! We went on the sundowner game drive and got to see lots of animals on the preserve up close.

Sensational! Zannier Sonop is truly a once-in-a-lifetime hotel—it’s worth coming here at least once in your life. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the service is flawless. Every single staff member was incredibly warm, and they had everything perfectly arranged for us. They even put a hot water bottle in our bed to keep us extra cozy, even though the heating was already on! The food was delicious, and the cocktails were superb. I am deeply in love with this place. Both the sunrises and sunsets were stunning, and the pool view was out of this world. My only regret is that I couldn't stay here longer.

The location is remote, surrounded by a fantastic selection of wild-life. The grounds were immaculate! Even though most of the trees in the surrounding area are, what we call "Devil Thorn Trees", they were all raked away. The staff (shout out to Josie) were incredible. We were visiting with an infant and they made sure we were as comfortable as possible. I let the lodge know that we intended to braai (BBQ) the second night and they provided us with the braai drum as well as a bag of wood! 110% will be staying there again, next time for a week!

We had a wonderful stay at Okamanja Lodge. The room was so cute and beautifully decorated, very cozy and comfortable, and the lobby was just as lovely, with great attention to detail and a warm atmosphere. One of the most magical parts of the stay was being welcomed by giraffes every time we passed the gate — truly unforgettable and something you don’t experience every day! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. A very special thank you to Frieda, the chef, who was absolutely amazing. Her food was delicious, and her warmth and kindness made us feel completely at home. A peaceful, beautiful place surrounded by nature — we would absolutely recommend it to anyone traveling through Namibia.

Fantastic location, fantastic dining, fantastic game drive as a start for travel in Namibia. Thank you Dee Pee for beeing our guide 🤭

Great place to stay and very well decorated, comfortable and maintained.

The views are incredible, the rooms are spacious and feel very private, and the staff is exceptional.

Everything about our stay at Omaruru Game Lodge was perfect. From arrival to departure, the experience was seamless and relaxing. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, with comfortable, clean rooms and great attention to detail. Dinner and breakfast were included and both were excellent — tasty, well-prepared meals with generous portions. The staff were friendly, professional and made us feel truly welcome. Overall, everything — the accommodation, food, service, and atmosphere — exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.

Classic hotel that seems to be stuck in time, in the good way. Best of all was the staff who were so nice and really helpful. Restaurant was great too.

Very nice, has everything you need. Very nice property

Great location, amazing breakfast! It is not everywhere that you can eat oysters and drink a glass of bubbly for breakfast! Everything was tasty and varied at breakfast. Room size is huge, design is funky. Everything new and clean, we had Nespresso coffee in the room. Super nice staff, loved our stay there. Location is also good, next to a shopping area, not so far from the beach, in the city center.
