We saw an amazing sunrise while still in our bed and also a great for seeing the brilliant night sky (we were lucky with the weather on one day). Gillian was an amazing host and the morning breakfast prepared by her was so great! She also gave us great recommendations about things to do in and around town.Guest review byDevashish ChandraIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 262 reviewsBeautiful view, super friendly staff, great location! A few minutes from Boulder Beach which we appreciated and meant we got to see the penguins almost every day we were there! We loved our balcony with a sea view. It’s about a 20 minute walk from town but we enjoyed making the walk in every day to visit the restaurants etc.Guest review byMichelleCanada
- From $79.91 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 100 reviewsThere were 8 of us so we loved how all of the rooms were just separate enough to give everyone their own space but we were all able to gather together outside by the pool and the fire pit. Lisa was lovely and helped us in any way she could. Would stay again without hesitation.Guest review byTaraUnited States

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.Guest review byNadjaGermany - 8.0

Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Excellent coast path enables you to walk to other beaches - my wife and I walked to Muizenberg, a very enjoyable stretch!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Very impressed with Kalk Bay.
Very impressed with Kalk Bay. It’s been great seeing the progress in five years in terms of the upliftment of the area. Village was clean and we took the train in to CT central which was great! Loved walking to Muizenberg beach and we did an early run to Fishhoek. Never felt unsafe. Will def be back.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Clovelly is a lovely quiet area in between the quite lively and noisy suburbs of Kalk Bay and Fish hoek, but only a short walking distance away from them, (about 15 minutes walk) So nice if you want to have peace and quiet while you sleep. Clovelly and fish hoek beach are really close, and the nice restaruants in Kalk bay also close. There are lovely mountain paths you can walk down and hikes right out of the back garden. Lovely sunset view from the flat.Guest review byDanaZimbabwe - 8.0

The view is fantastic. The lounge is very comfortable. The drive up from road to car park is not for timid drivers. We were self-catering, and found the kitchenette inadequate. The communal kitchen is available if needed. The maid-service is goodGuest review byRoger - 10.0

exactly as advertise, no surprizes. very nice, clean and comfortable stay. ideal for families or in my case, close friends. ideally situated for cape point, hout bay and peninsula. the distance even works well for table mountain and sea point via the scenic chapman's peak drive. Kathy, the Manager and her husband was very friendly and helpful with tips for local eat-outs and to-do options. we will be back in the future, inshallah/God willing.Guest review byJamesSouth Africa - 10.0
St James is charming with gracious buildings and homes.
St James is charming with gracious buildings and homes. Gardens and flowers. There's a tennis court next to the sea. I drove to Muizenberg for a walkabout and breakfast one morning, and shopped in Kalk Bay, but St James is the "gem" sandwiched between the two towns. I regularly took a walk to the cafe next to the station, very important at this time of covid was outside seating.Guest review byLesleySouth Africa - 10.0

We had a fantastic time staying in Simon’s Town—such a charming coastal gem! The location is perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, with easy access to Boulders Beach and its famous penguins, as well as breathtaking drives along the coast. The town itself has a peaceful vibe, friendly locals, and some great little cafés and restaurants. Our accommodation was lovely—clean, comfortable, and with stunning ocean views that made every morning feel special. It’s the perfect base for nature lovers and those looking to unwind by the sea. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting the Cape!Guest review byAyush Aggarwal 19India - 10.0

Muizenberg is a big surf area attracting many people who love being in or close to the water. It is busy and active with plenty of action on or near the water. Plenty of eating places with great coffee to go. Not Hout Bay or Camps Bay so don't go thinking you will get fine dining and dressed up crowds. Think more bohemian and down to earth. A great vibe if you love the ebb and flow of the ocean and surfers.Guest review byvickyPortugal
