Boasting indoor and open-air hot spring baths, Azumaya Seaside Hotel offers free pick-up shuttles from Kada Train Station, a 5-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby.

Hotel Seaside Azumaya provides massage services, karaoke facilities and drinks vending machines. Beautiful sunset can be viewed from the open-air hot spring bath. A gift shop is also on site.

I especially loved the wonderful ocean views, and the enchanting atmosphere: an exciting immersion in Japanese culture (from the furnishings, traditional clothing, food...). Special thanks to the staff for their extreme care, attention, and courtesy.

This ryokan is a 20-minute drive from JR Wakayama Train Station and a 15-minute drive from Wakayama Castle. Wakayama Marina City and Kuroshio Fish Market can both be accessed within a 15-minute drive from the property.

Nice Staff and good dinner. Good ocean view from the room. There is a waterfront walkway and an old lighthouse next to the hotel.

It was a nice hotel. A short walk from train station and a bit longer walk to the castle. Our room was comfortable and clean. The furnishing was sufficient. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The best thing was the onsen and massage chair. So relaxing. We booked same hotel for our autumn trip.

Excellent choice of food for breakfast, especially if you like Japanese style…and fish. They even had fried whale meat on the menu. Free noodle service between 9.30 - 11.00 pm Beautiful onsen baths…the TV in the room will tell you how busy the baths are so that you can plan to go at a quieter time if you wish! An easy 5 minute walk from Wakayama station.

Hosts are super nice and provided me with Infos for my sightseeing plans. They also helped me, when my luggage arrived a day later, so I could already be out and explore! The room is spacious, has everything you need and is clean. The futon was very comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located, a very good onsen is just around the corner. Would definitely recommend.
