The view from the front side of the motel is stunning. The rooms are older but servicable, the mattress could do with a little TLC, the pillows were really nice. I love that we can bring our well behaved travel companion dog here, that there is a fridge that works, that the balconys have rockers, it is a simple stay, not luxurious, but always meets our needs.

The breakfast was OK. They were not enough choices, but it was fair for the price. I really liked the view from my room. I liked that the room had a balcony. During the day, sunlight streamed into the room and I loved that. Also, the room was really clean, very clean. The furniture is not really new, but because it was so clean I really appreciated that. The room attendant was very nice and helpful. She did not speak much English, but I explained to her that the water in the sink was not draining properly. I wasn’t even sure she understood but I went out and came back and she had fixed it. I was very grateful for that.

The property is beautiful along with the surrounding landscape.
Waynesville is one of my favorite towns in the Appalachians.
Waynesville is one of my favorite towns in the Appalachians. It is what Gatlinburg should have become. Useful and interesting shops on the main strip, great food, craft beers, dog friendly locations, beautiful. The surrounding area is peaceful and lovely. The best kitchen store anywhere, a doggo bakery, Hazelwood Soaps, BlueRidge books and Mast General Store are musts on each visit. Lake Junaluska, the Southeastern Jurisdictional HQ of the United Methodist Church is just right there, and is important to us. Even if you are not religious, it is a peaceful and healing location. We love Haywood Smokehouse, The Beach Mountain Diner, Boojums, Church Street Depot, Kandis cakes and bake shop when we eat away. It is a wonderful place to be.

The people are super friendly and you are a short drive to Maggie Valley and up to the Blue ridge parkway and Smoky mountains. Not even an hour away there is tubing, waterfalls, swimming, hiking, everything you want for outdoors and leaving technology behind.

I loved staying at the Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast on Love Lane! It felt like a home away from home and the owner is a fantastic cook! The views from the inn were spectacular. Downtown Waynesville was a great stroll for morning and afternoon, full of unique businesses from arts to antiques to niche boutiques. We had a wonderful time searching for treasures at Spenceberry Antiques and having a hearty lunch at Watami. It's the perfect driving distance for a night out in Asheville!!

Love the downtown area - has a lot to offer. One of the best restaurants in the area is called Chef's Table. Let me save you some time on the menu and go ahead and order the deconstructed lasagna! Amazing!

We love Waynesville, and have been attending events at Lake Junaluska Assembly for almost 40 years. Yikes, time flies! But spending time in Waynesville is a must. Things we love: Beach Mountain Diner, everything there is delish! Boojums patio with good food, craft beers and our doggo with us is perfect. Church Street Depot has the perfect burgers.
The mountains there are gorgeous, the climate is our preference!
The Kitchen Shop is the best, I have many items in my home from there, and the Dog Bakery has a wide selection, and you can donate to local charities in exchange for tennis balls for animal play! What trip is complete without a stop at the Mast General Store. How many shoes and hoodies do we have from there??? hmm.

This cabin was perfect for our family. The location is perfect. It sits atop the mountain w/ beautiful views. If ice or snow were an issue, a 4-wheel drive might be needed to scale the very steep driveway. Plenty of space for our family of 7 (mostly adults). Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the wood burning fireplace!! Close proximity to Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Lake Junaluska. The host was excellent to work with after some hiccups with the booking site, she worked directly with me to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
When I arrived the lady at the front desk greeted me with a smile. Check in went very smoothly. Room was clean & fresh smelling. Hotel sat up on a hill & had a great view. Beds were comfortable. Hot water in the shower was hot & great water pressure. Also, liked how there was a bar in the shower to hold onto. The hotel was close to stores & restaurants. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
John and Debbie are excellent hosts and their home is a wonderful place to stay with so much history. We loved Debbie's breakfast, there was plenty of choice including tasty treats, fresh fruit, different toasting options, coffee, tea and juice. Waynesville is a great location with plenty to do and see in the area, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Charming and cosy. The owner has put a lot of love and effort into the property. Facilities are excellent right down to the smallest detail E.g laundry detergent and a Smores kit for the fire pit. Outside areas are beautiful. Fireflies, rocking chairs, log fire, BBQ. Lovely quiet setting - so much bird song. Great location for Waynesville, Lake Junaluska and a spring board for the Smokies.
Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bed and bedding very nice. Front desk staff warm and friendly. Beautiful and peaceful area. We enjoyed the view of the mountains from our room and that there was a sitting area outside our room on the mountain side. Once renovations are complete, the grounds will be beautiful. It’s nice that there is somewhere to go for a walk within the property.
This B & B is convenient to Waynesville and close to I-40.
It was clean, neat, and quiet.
The hostess was kind, answered all our questions, and recommended a few great local restaurants to try.
The morning breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and setting on front porch, beautiful.
We will look forward to returning to Oak Hill in the near future.....This lovely property
lovely, secluded from road, immaculately clean and the owner went above and beyond with bottles of wine, ice cream and more. it’s a beautiful property surrounded by trees, pastures and you can see the beautiful mountains peeking through the trees. Great outside porch area with outdoor fireplace which we were invited to help ourselves with. Truly delightful stay.
Everything was great for us. The only little thing is the views are a little different in reality versus the photos that are shared, but honestly we were either enjoying the inside of the property or out being "tourists".
Kitchen had anything we needed, bedroom and bathroom were well appointed and the living area was spectacular.
The hotel was just outside the nearby town which meant we had to get in the car to go anywhere. But it did have excellent views of the mountains. It was reasonably clean and the decoration was good but it was fairly basic. I would recommend it for a quick overnight stop but nothing more.
The cabin was perfect! It was just what we expected, and needed for our stay in the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area. Loved the porch swing, gas log fireplace, and all you needed in the kitchen including spices, tea, coffee, etc!
The hotel is an older one but it was clean and comfortable. I feel we got good value for the price. The view was beautiful. Check in was a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpful.
