PS has improved since my last visit, COVID is in the rearview mirror and the town is alive again! The homeless situation is very much improved! The Zoo is a must-see as well as the Air Museum! Don't forget to visit the reservation for some great hikes and hopeful big-horn sheep sitings! And don't forget the tram!

Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass...
Famous Palm Springs seems now to be more of a typical mass market tourist town, with 2 major, long streets that include many big & small shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, & a 3rd side street that also has some of same but is more run-down & busy with 'drive-thru' local traffic & many condo complexes, some of which look somewhat 'run-down'.
Still, PS is luckily located right below a moderatly high series of desert mtn peaks which makes for a 'different', scenic Backdrop. While there could be even more semi-tropical Flowering plants placed downtown, there are certain areas where they stand out, making for some incredible visit-Pics. Other than a Casino& hotel complex a block or two away from downtown, the rest of PS seems old & run-down, but, now old desert towns tend to look that way.
Also, there are some other interesting, and even more upscale/modern towns just 4-5 miles south along Palm Canyon Dr. (or hwy 111), that are worth visiting or staying in (though usually at higher cost).

Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel.
Loved the vintage vibe and history of the hotel. Very clean. Alex takes care of everything from checkin to maintenance. Very efficient. Appreciated pet policy being that it is such a small common space. Place could use new towels and linens. However the size of the bungalos made up for it. Really enjoyed our stay and would def consider staying again.

We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties...
We love Palm Springs and have stayed at several properties there, but after our stay in the (glorious) Ricardo Suite at the Velvet Rope we have a vacation home to return to from now on. David Rios who designed all the suites and was our host, plus Kevin and Jeffery were as warm and accommodating as can be! We were delighted with every aspect of the hotel (touring many other suites there was also a visual treat), terrific pool deck, and we look forward to our return!!
I've stayed here multiple times over many years. The location in Downtown Palm Springs is perfect for me. I especially like the breakfast there as it has a lot of variety in the types of options available. The breakfast room staff does an incredible job at maintaining the food choices and keeping the dining room very clean. Like my other stays at this hotel, the accommodations and the staff are excellent. That brings me back over and over when visiting Palm Springs.
its a small intimate Hotel , in the Warm Sands part of Palm Springs , so easy walking to everything or a few min driving to Downtown PS . The guys Colin and Jesse , are great easygoing Hosts , The vibe is intimate , cozy and clean , a great place for a romantic couples get away , or even just if you wanted to have some me time , and lay around the pool and chill . Really a nice stay !

I am in love with this boutique hotel. Had my first days off for a long time and wanted to escape LA weather. The large pool, luxury bungalow and lots of space made me feel like home in Palm Springs. Very clean and stylish relaxing resort. Super sweet staff. And I loved the mini-golf course next to the pool and stargazing in the Jacuzzi. Even had a private kitchen!
Totally gorgeous hotel, and in absolutely pristine condition. The rooms are a really good size and very comfy. The WiFi is great all over the hotel. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. If we're ever back in Palm Springs this hotel will be our only choice. It is also right in the center off the town and only 100mtrs away from the shops and restaurants.
Lovely property, very private and the Deluxe King balcony was HUGE. This was a staycation for our wedding anniversary. Great location, walkable to center downtown Palm Springs and lots of restaurants. Free parking on site. Very comfortable room and bed, clean. The hottest water I've ever experienced in a hotel. Shower big enough for two.
The location to downtown Palm Springs was good. In addition there are restaurants close by. There were a lot of open chairs by the pools. The fridge size in the room was larger than most hotel mini fridges. The room was decorated nicely. Bed was firm but comfortable. Pillows were comfortable. Music by the pool was great.
The Inn at Palm Springs is a very family-friendly hotel that offers thoughtful touches that we appreciated, such as a mini kitchen with fridge and microwave in the room, water bottle filling station and free hot beverages in the lounge area, and a pool that was the perfect antidote to the hot midday sun.
Amazing breakfast. One of the best deals I have had at an Inn. The hotel property is very adorable and well managed/clean. My friends and I definitely plan to come back. The hospitality was perfect. Thank you to the owners for always checking in that we had everything we needed. We appreciated you.
Fantastic boutique hotel offering great design, comfort and best possible location. We had two communicating rooms with a total of 3 bedrooms and two baths which was perfect for my wife and I and our 3 children aged 13, 11 and 9. They all loved Drift and enjoyed their stay. Highly recommend.
The room was very clean and pleasant.
The staff were snide and verging on rude. The facilities were passable, but had definitely seen better days.
The location is on the edge of the town so not very central.
I wouldn’t return to this hotel, but loved Palm Springs.
Quaint boutique hotel well located near downtown Palm Springs. The staff and hotel service were excellent, especially Blanda! The beautifully designed courtyard, pool and hot tub were an oasis to look forward to after a busy day of activities.
Great hotel with a nice private pool. Hotel room was good with a separate tv room. Great location, supermarket 5 minutes walk down the road and Downtown Palm Springs a 10-15 minute walk in the other direction.
The location, end of story. was the only redeeming quality to this cheap flea bag hotel. It's situated right next door to a liquor store, and across the street from the beautiful Palm Springs mountains.
The hotel has a pool.
One out of two ice machines worked.
The location is not far from downtown Palm Springs.
The weather happened to be just right
Elmer's restaurant is nearby
Everything ! Cheap price, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff! You are close to everything in Palm Springs. The hotel is nicely decorated in mid-century style.
Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was secluded and very private considering it was located in downtown Palm Springs. Very clean and relaxing place. We'll be back.
