The room was very spacious and the decor was very stylish. We had a baby with us so we really loved the large room for setting up her bassinet and a little play area for her. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. We loved the morning coffee and tea in the lobby which had alternative milks and tasted excellent. We were able to walk to many restaurants quite easily which fantastic.

Ojai is very much worth visiting if you want to escape the rush of big cities and franchise businesses such as Starbucks, fast food outlets, and rude city drivers. The bike/walking path through the village allows one to experience nature in many forms. It is maintained wonderfully and surprising free of trash and litter. Don't miss the abundance of charming restaurants with unique menus. Enjoy hiking or, if you are a bit hardier, biking the Shelf Road trail with its great views of the Ojai Valley.

Ojai is a great weekend getaway from Los Angeles for some peace and quiet, decent restaurants, and local wine tasting. It was not congested, people are friendly, slow pace and relaxing. Ojai is small so pretty much can walk anywhere.

The mountains surrounding the city are beautiful.
The mountains surrounding the city are beautiful. The city itself really has nothing to offer except a lake. The downtown is very small unless you’re hiking or fishing. There isn’t much to do. The mountains around it are beautiful, but the town itself doesn’t offer much.

Ojai is a charming village with shops, restaurants and boutiques. There are many health centers too. The Libby Bowl is an excellent, small concert venue and the Ojai Valley Resort and Spa has excellent golf opportunities and Bluegrass Sunday brunch. Visit Sam’s Place for friendly atmosphere and a cocktail!

We enjoyed our visit to Ojai.
We enjoyed our visit to Ojai. The hiking was very good, with well marked signage. The weekend traffic was heavy, but not once you got out of town. The downtown area was fun with lots of little quaint shops and galleries. The farmers market was amazing. Our favorite restaurant was the Seafood Restaurant. Libby park was pretty with good tennis facilities. The bike ride from Ojai to Ventura is a must. Beautiful ride that provides good exercise and not too steep in either direction. A fun get away location.

The room was a good size.
The room was a good size. I never saw a human been working in the hotel. No basic services for the price.
No making the bed
Just one roll of toilet paper for a two room
One box of Kleenex for the whole place
No extra water, not even to buy
Overall very disappointed; Mi family stay at Capri, a lot less money and a lot more services.
I am never coming back!
We had an excellent stay. The hotel is really lovely and very well located. The room was very clean and spacious for two people. We were in room 6 which was towards to back of the property -this was helpful with road noise reduction as the property is right off of the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is super cute with a grassy area and hammocks to lounge and spread out a bit. We enjoyed the coffee and little cookies in the lobby each morning as well.
Very tasteful boutique like hotel in Ojai, walking distance from shops, cafes and restaurants. Lovely swimming pool which our teenage daughter enjoyed. A vast garden with magnificent palm trees next to the pool for relaxing in.
The lobby has an amazing fireplace which was put on each morning. Great arty books and fine products that you can purchase.
Exceptional staff. Welcoming and accommodating. Very helpful.
This was such a cute experience for our mini-honeymoon. Can’t believe these Airstreams are hiding so close to the center of Ojai! The Airstream had easy instructions readily available that made it really seamless to know how to use everything. We would definitely stay here again!
Also, special shout out to Emma for being such a great “camp host”!
Fabulous views and lovely gardens. A little remote from the main town, but fine with a car.
We had one of the two rooms with a shared bathroom - but we did have a galley kitchen outside and the main lounge was next door. So, altogether, we had plenty of space & facilities.
Breakfast was plentiful and good quality.
Ojai is a very special area.
the suite was just as described with a comfortable sitting room with fireplace, an well-equipped kitchenette and a bedroom with a very comfortable king bed. also the bathroom had separate shower and tub.
one of the best spaces was the beautiful courtyard where we were able to sit and enjoy being outside.
We were given a lovely second story room at the back of the hotel which was away from the road. We had requested a quiet room and it was perfect.
The staff were friendly and accommodating and I would recommend this hotel We played golf twice at Soule Park and it was just across the road.
Cozy little spot at the end of Ojai Ave.
Clean, sleek room with a little patio.
The lobby was newly renovated and very serene.
It was an easy flat .8 mile walk to the center of town from the inn.
The front desk folks were very welcoming and helpful.
We'd definitely stay there again.
We loved everything about this place. The hosts are amazing and extremely nice, the location is perfectly set between Meiners Oak and Ojai, a coffee shop within walking distance, great design, so clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely hotel, newly renovated. The room was very cool - mid century with a twist. Loved the layout and the little patio attached was great. I loved how quiet and serene it was at night, very comfy beds too. I would stay here again for sure.
A beautifully refurbished motel, well thought out design and aesthetic. Comfy bed, huge spa tub. Great little bar on property w fire pit. Super dog friendly. Located on the Ojai trail made easy access to winery and roaming around.
We choose this hotel for the "advertised" Spa Tub in the room. When we tried to use it, there was no Hot Water supply to the Tub. Extremely frustrating since my wife and I wanted to use it and choose this hotel for that feature!
This hotel is amazing and does not even feel like a hotel but that you have your own private cottage/villa. The room was spacious, quiet, and the surround grounds were delightful. The area had ample outdoor seating to enjoy.
I loved the ambiance and peaceful environment. The pool is amazing! The hotel makes you feel like you are in a space of complete relaxation and tranquility.
