Fujikawaguchiko is nice and quiet place, but little bit boring. No nightlife, or great restaurants. Walking trails and roads overgroving with weeds. The town has lake, but no place to swim. They helped us with rooms that we hadn’t booked and when we needed an extra night they kept us in mind and as soon as there was a cancellation, they got us 2 rooms. Highly recommend. Getting to the town from Tokyo was relatively straight forward and getting around the town itself using the sightseeing bus was good too. Great view room and outdoor bath. Great onsen with seperate ladies area. Hard pillow neck hurt. Lousy check in asked to use iPhone QR code for all Info. Smaller than expected room and bed. Hard to sleep 2 people in bed. Food is not good best to eat out of hotel. Have to walk 20-30 minutes downhill to restaurants below. Be prepared to hire taxi if handicapped to leave hotel. magnificient! the view of mount fuji is awesome
magnificient! the view of mount fuji is awesome from the place we stay is walkable to lake kawaguchi. as muslim family we walk to the mosque (kawaguchi) & found a halal eating place (quite a walk but nice walking through the serene neighbourhood (we used google map) however, the place to eat is limited but we make do with lawson-kawaguchiko & 7-11, so no complaint👍Guest review byNurhayatiMalaysia
