I had a truck and trailer that was to long for the parking. The desk clerk helped me try and then suggested to disconnect the trailer. I did then asked where to park the truck. He told me park in the handicaped spots to make it easier in the morning. So at 7:00 am I get a wake up call telling me I needed to move them both now. I asked where to park and he, new guy, said to park on the street. At check out he's telling me there is a charge for extra vehicle, the trailer, and for parking in the handicapped area. I told him why I was parked there but he had to charge me anyway. Very disappointed after having a very long day before.

Hotel is in a good location and walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping and the pier. But hotel was run down and needs a major update & upgrade. Front desk was not responsive to report of noisy guests next to us.

Compared to the rest of Southern California, it was pleasant. I noticed the cleanliness, no graffiti, and the traffic flowed well. There was adequate choices of shopping and restaurants. Nice and pleasant over all. It wasn't infested with gangs like the rest of the state is. OOPS, I forgot, that is who runs that state!

The receptionist was friendly and efficient, it’s in a good prime position but Needs serious work to make it decent ( clean and in good repair)
Very dated and dirty - pool was closed by authorities only a week ago because of this
Sofa in the room was disgustingly dirty and the carpet was filthy
The hairdryer did work it only if you held a button in the whole time ( almost impossible to use) my husband had to press in the button while I dried my hair !
2 nights here was way too long
Being charged $30 to park was poor too and of our 6 week trip this is the only place we paid to park in the grounds

I can't stop bragging about the location of this property.
I can't stop bragging about the location of this property. It was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Since the dog beach is only about 1.5 miles away the dogs had a great time meeting new friends. The price was reasonable and I would absolutely stay again and again and again!! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

The thing about Huntington Beach is if you come on a Monday, it’s not as crowded as the weekend. On Tuesdays nights, they have a little festival for the locals with crafts paintings really amazing food and multiple entertainers an old classic rock band with too many more features to acknowledge, this is on Main Street I came to go surf the pier and it was the best. I also went to Costa Mesa to see the Chargers football training camp which is only 10 minutes away. Definitely recommend Huntington Beach everybody’s really nice.

There are a lot of pros and cons to this hotel. Some of the benefits are a great location in a good neighborhood with a lot of amenities very close by. The hotel lobby itself is small, but very nicely decorated. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful and free parking is another plus. The price was excellent as well. The pool was ok and was a bit heated, so that was nice. The on-site bar was a nice amenity, although it’s only open from 6-10PM and is a bit pricey.
1.)I have some mobility issues and they have rooms on the ground floor which are only separated from the parking lot by a sidewalk. This makes it much easier to deal with bags.
2.)The maids and front desk people were all very nice and helpful. They gave great suggestions for places to eat, etc.
3.)The mattress was great, one of the nicest, firm mattresses I've had in a motel or hotel.
4.)The mini frig was a fairly good sized one and the microwave newer.
I booked a room here to stay close to my cousin in Huntington Beach. The location was very convenient for me. The parking space is spacious. I particularly appreciated the painting and pleasing decoration in the room. The bedding is soft and clean. The bathroom is clean as well.
All the staffs are very kind and friendly, especially the breakfast staff. She is dedicated to her work as she was attentive the customers' needs and gave us the best service.
The room was large and comfortable, and the beds were great. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute drive to Huntington Beach. There is a cute outdoor shopping mall across the street from the hotel, which is very convenient for eating and drinking. The staff is friendly and there is plenty of outdoor parking. Parking is 10 USD per night, which is cheap compared to other hotels/locations where you can pay 40 USD per night.
Location was great! It is not on the beach but just a few blocks away. We could see the ocean from our door. The staff is very happy and friendly. The location was on PCH but it was quiet with the door/window closed. Strong hot shower. Mini fridge in the room, but it froze everything. If all you want is a clean basic hotel room for a good price, this is the one for you.
Perfect location.he beach was located right behind and across a small street from the hotel and a bonus was the beach equipment offered for no extra charge
Very nice and friendly staff. Sean the manager was so welcoming and always available
Simple but fine breakfast choices that we could eat on the roof deck or outside courtyard tables
This property is so cute and at a reasonable price! it’s right across the street from the Huntington Beach Pier And Huntington Beach Boardwalk with all the stores and restaurants on it. The rooms were very clean, the beds were so comfy and the blankets were so soft. The bathrooms were very nice. The managers were so amazingly kind too.
Comfortable, attractive, quiet hotel. I have stayed in another hotel in the area that was too close to the freeway, and the traffic noise was inescapable. Not the case here! My room was on the lower floor, and looked out upon the pool and courtyard. Had my business not been a quick overnight, I would have liked to stay longer.
The location is great. Not that far from Huntington Beach.
The kitchenette for the room was great too. Most of the rooms we've stayed in always had a mini fridge so it was nice to have a sink and a counter.
It's a good place to stay in for the weekend. We brought our Corgi with us and he was fine sleeping in the room.
If you want a laidback experience this is the place to go! This is my favorite place to stay at in Huntington Beach, its right across from the beach and all of the shops and restaurants are all in a walkable vicinity. The people running the place is doing an amazing job, I definitely recommend!!!
Though the breakfast is pre-packed stuff, they offer varieties to choose, which is nice. It's convenient to get what needed from the Mother's Supermarket. It's easy to get any beach by driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, just in front of the hotel.
It’s close to everything. The pier is across the street, the shops and restaurants are all on the other side of the hotel. I loved the outdoor restaurant and bartender named Austin that works there. Great guy & great drinks especially for a breakfast!
Conveniently located very close to Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Bolsa Chica State Beach and Seal Beach. Quaint little surfers motel, nice and clean, decent sized rooms and friendly staff. We will definitely be staying here again!
I absolutely love this hotel. The location is spectacular. The service is devine. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The food on the premises is delicious. The pools are amazing. The beach is so close, and the views are a dream.
Very short walk to pier and beach across the street. Walk to main for drinks, shops or dinner/breakfast. park on premisses perfect. welcomed by lady at reception, very nice and helpfull (forgot her name)
location was amazing, most central, close to everything. the hotel decoration is just great, clean, modern, great surf vibes and dining. for family there is entertainment options.
