The staff persons were exceptional.
The rooms were ok but we really didn’t spend much time there anyway.
Breakfast was good.

I like to ride up the hill to top of the world and then down the dirt hill back down, unscathed as fast as I can. Is a property is in a very good location for that.

The location was great.
The views and close walk to the beach was lovely. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Not very sound proof and housekeeping wasn’t on par for the price that you pay.
Breakfast and drink were very yummy even though we did not get our welcome drink.

I loved how cozy and Zen our room and courtyard was. Loved the sound machine, diffuser, and robe to make me feel more relaxed. The pool and spa area was excellent. Loved that you can use lounge chairs down on the sand. Coffee and Tea station was great. Love that they used a code to get into your room. Dog friendly.

I love Laguna Beach. It is gorgeous. The free trolley is excellent for getting around town without having to worry about finding parking. There is great food. The public bathrooms on the beaches are very clean. There is a very friendly, relaxing vibe. I love exploring the individual beaches and their tide pools. My favorite restaurant is Urth Cafe.

We paid an upgraded price for a balcony room right on the ocean. We were given a balcony with a rooftop and peak a boo view of the ocean.
Our television only had one station
$45 charge for valet parking and they left my car unlocked in the alley most of the night.
I will not use Booking.com or recommend or go to this hotel ever again.

We enjoyed the laid back welcoming energy of the locals as well as other travelers.
Spring time was a better time for us to visit, seemed to be less busy!
We were impressed by the cleanliness' of the streets, parks and beaches as well as appreciated the free local trolley bus that took us back n forth between the south and north areas of Laguna Beach.
So many beautiful things to take in but overall we felt safe and relaxed which gave us a wonderful experience.
We will return to experience everything that we didn't have the time to!

Crowded on weekends, but one of the nicest beaches in the world. The town is being over-run with tourists and the arty vibe is suffering from this. We found the restaurants middling and very expensive. Really recommend visiting off season or during the week.

Felt very safe and there were so many interesting art galleries and eateries in town. Many people had to queue for at least half hour at Gelato Paradiso for the ice cream. We were lucky as there was no queue around 7pm.
We were travelling to Laguna Beach from Bannings. OMG, we were caught in many toll roads. Couldn't pay online as the system didn;t accept rental cars. Set your maps to non-toll roads if you want to avoid these.

We love Laguna beach’s which are stunning n the downtown is very nice with many restaurants n shops. We had breakfast at Moulins a French place which is excellent. We have frequented Laguna beach several times as we love it here. Many beautiful beaches. Heisler park is a very nice Park overlooking the water n have steps down to the coves. Laguna beach also has a free trolley which goes up the coast up to Dana point and into town. Great place!
The location!! It can’t be beat!!!
The hospitality is so wonderful, too. All of the ladies working here are so friendly and nice. They even offered me a complimentary wine tray and brought it to my room! The European breakfast was a nice touch and perfect for a beach picnic. I loved the charm of this seaside boutique hotel and appreciated all of the touches in the room like the microwave and fridge and lounge chairs on the balcony.
The sheets were very soft. Truly the best sheets I have ever experienced at a hotel. There was a pool. Ralphs is located right across the street - walking distance. The beach is close as well. They let me enter my room a few hours before 4pm. I was grateful. Water pressure in the shower is excellent. The lobby is stunning. They have complimentary beverages.
The rooms were recently updated and very nice. Our room was a good size with a clean room. The pool was clean and comfortable. The walk to beach was just across the street. The Laguna trolly stop was right in front of the hotel and there are a couple decent restaurants, a grocery and drug store within walking distance.
Not going to get a better location for Laguna Beach. I’ve stayed right on the ocean before and it can be a little nerve-racking with the crashing waves, but being just one house away from it made all the difference. Beautiful views and steps to the beach. Fantastic.
The most friendly, sympathetic and dedicated to job was a young gentlemen who set up hotel umbrellas on the beach.
Also, hotel M&O staff was extremely helpful when they offered jump start to my vehicle.
Breakfast is included and very decent.
The entire team lead by Anderson are the best! There’s no denying that The Tides is Laguna Beach is my favorite place to stay hands down on CA. It’s quiet, close, charming, and is my home away home when I fly into CA, and I’m in the area.
Location, location, location! Walkable to parks, restaurants and cafes...hotel directly on the beach. Tons of windows in our room, fantastic views! Free beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use. Great!
Had an ocean front room. Was amazing. My family fell in love with laguna beach. The free trolley system made it easy to move back and forth from into town. My entire stay was awesome.
Ambience of the place is great. There is a free Laguna shuttle stop right outside the hotel. Location is good, not exactly in downtown Laguna but not very far either.
Amazing hotel, perfect for a little getaway. It's a relaxing place with a nice pool and a private sauna. The rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly.
