There's really nothing that I did like about this hotel. Pretty below average for the insane price I paid! $1700 for 4 nights...ridiculous!

One of the oldest and most historic US cities, Boston is known as "America’s Walking City". In its heart, next to 18th-century Faneuil Hall, is Quince Market - a food haven. In the nearby seaport, you can take a whale-watching trip or dine at one of the many restaurants serving a Boston specialty: lobster with melted butter.
The streets south of the peaceful Charles River in Back Bay are lined with Victorian brownstone houses. At the downtown end of one – Beacon Street – is the Cheers bar, modeled on the 80's sitcom. Opposite is Boston Common, a large park with a bronze sculpture celebrating the book "Make Way for Ducklings". The golden dome of the House of Representatives is by the other end.
The oldest part is Charlestown and streets around the Bunker Hill obelisk still feature old-style gas lamps, though now they are electric. Over in Cambridge, Harvard is the USA’s oldest and most prestigious university. The campus is open to the public, as is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), whose central point is an emblematic, Pantheon-like building.
Sport in Boston is also a big thing, with the Celtics and Red Sox among the city’s big name teams.
The largest New England city, Boston has the perfect size for walking and cycling. Logan International Airport is connected by public transport to Boston hotels, motels, apartments and B&Bs.

Boston is a wonderful city and a fantastic destination for a trip. Avoid dedicated "sight-seeng" focused on the usual tourist-y things (Freedom Trail, Quincy Market, etc.) unless you are very much an American history buff. Instead, explore the neighborhoods of Boston on your own (The Waterfront, North End, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, The Seaport, …). They are lovely and each has it's own character and charm. There are endless things to do. Take in a game if you're interested in that, see a show, or do something else special (Shakespeare in the Park for example in the summer). The subway is a wonderful and efficient way to get everywhere and if you want to venture far beyond Boston itself, the commuter rail is equally good. There are lots of options for getting onto the water (ferries, water taxis, harbor tours, the Boston Harbor Islands, …, and visitors should take advantage of at least one. It's a great way to see the city. The recently renovated observation deck at the Prudential Tower is just excellent. Boston is a very welcoming and approachable city. You can explore confidently. It generally feels safe and clean and well maintained while oozing charm.

Boston is busy. Little to no parking around Harvard.
Boston is busy. Little to no parking around Harvard. Street parking but limited. Made it hard to get out and explore. The highways into downtown Boston or the coast were grid locked. We were unable to explore like we have other big cities. Next time we would Uber around or stay by the coast if that is where we planned on exploring.

It's a perfect city to walk around especially when the weather is good! We saw all the major attractions within 2-3 days. It is pretty expensive so self catering accomodation is a good option. Lolita's restaurant on Newbury Street is amazing and I would definitely go back there! For lunch on the go find a Tatte in Beacon Hill or Harvard Square they are delicious! We loved our Prudential Tower Experience! It gives you spectacular views of the city and helps you understand the layout of the city better. An evening walk or cycle along the Charles River is a must do. Also we loved our visit to the Museum of Fine Art and the Boston Library. If the weather turns wet head to the Prudential/ Copley Centre.

Boston is a beautiful & clean city!
Boston is a beautiful & clean city! Boston Public Garden was amazing! We enjoyed navigating downtown Boston on the Freedom Trail. There is plenty of parking in the downtown area, roadside or garages. We especially enjoyed the restaurants & bakeries in the North End. We had a great visit to the Franklin Zoo. We did not use the Public Transit System, but drove & parked in downtown. We walked everywhere from there. I would like to try the Transit next time.

Boston is a wonderful historic city with much to see and do.
Boston is a wonderful historic city with much to see and do.
We were there for a church conference and the Colonnade was well situated with regard to the church.
While in town we enjoyed a Hop On Hop Off tour of the city, well worth the price to acquaint one with the city.
We enjoyed excellent dining at Thorton's for breakfast/lunch and Eddie V's for dinner as well as The Cheesecake Factory.
Situated a short shuttle bus ride from Logan Airport, the hotel is a great place to stay when visiting Boston. The staff were friendly and professional, the shuttle bus drivers were great and the bus can be used to get to a nearby metro station. Rooms are big, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks. The laundry room was useful and the evening bar with food available to purchase meant that you don't have to find a restaurant in the evening after a long day.
Hampton Inn Seaport is an excellent location for walking to the convention center, and easy access to downtown Boston. We walked along Summer Street to central Boston at night, about a 30 minute walk. Uber or Bus #7 are convenient for returning to the hotel from downtown. Several restaurants are nearby including Harpoon Brewing. The hotel is clean and fresh with helpful staff. Excellent breakfast each morning during our 3 day stay. We parked at Marine parking garage, an easy walk from the hotel.
Staff were all nice and friendly. Very good wifi throughout the whole building. Room was tight, had everything we needed though. Location is fantastic for tourists, close walk to so much of downtown Boston.
Living room with free drinks and a space to relax was nice. Hallways had dispensers for filtered water and free bottles. Gym was tight though had the hotel standard cardio series of machines plus full set of free weights and 1 bench. Yoga room was provided in the room which was nice.
We recently stayed at the Newbury Guest House while we were in town for a concert at Fenway. The location was perfect with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and all the highlights of the within walking distance. We were able to reserve a parking spot at the hotel in advance too which was a bonus. The staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous, and the accommodations were exceptional. We will definitely be back for our next visit to Boston’s Back Bay.
The staff members were extremely helpful. They explained how we could take the hotel shuttle to the train station to go into downtown Boston for sightseeing, and they stored our luggage securely since we checked out early in the day but came back to catch the airport shuttle for our flight. The room was lovely and super clean. There is a restaurant for the evening meal with a friendly waiter. Breakfast was very nice, too. Highly recommend.
The hotel is so clean! Never had such a clean room! Plus the rooms were modern, beds were comfortable, and staff were friendly especially the bellman. Location was good and we walked a lot so downtown can be a bit far to walk to but we much preferred this quieter side of Boston and it’s close distance to Fenway. Rooftop pool is also beautiful. Highly recommend Jaho Artisan coffee about 2 min walk from hotel.
My room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel feels historic but is recently renovated. It's in the best location very close to Newbury Street and Back Bay. Walking distance to everything you need to access in downtown Boston and a 5-min walk from the Back Bay T station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price I paid, this was an amazing value for this area.
Great location in Back Bay. Within walking distance of the Red Sox in one direction and the Freedom Trail/downtown Boston in the other. We can’t speak highly enough of the staff and the service from the hotel. We were lucky enough to be upgraded. Rooms are historic with open fires that we didn’t use. And we loved The Lenox sign on the top of the hotel.
The hotel was centrally located in downtown Boston with access to most of the central city. The room was modern and equipped with two comfortable queen-sized beds. The lift, when it arrived, travelled very quickly. On 17th floor, we had good views of the City and rooftop bar. Our luggage was stored at no cost both on arrival and departure.
The location of this hotel is one of the best if you are looking to stay close to Boston Common. It's beside so many shops, coffee shops and other many attractions. The plus for me was the attention and the good customer service. I would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel again and I would love to come back to this place.
Solid business-traveler oriented hotel in the heart of downtown Boston. Clean and easily accessible. Walking distance to every MBTA line, meaning you can get anywhere including the airport. I appreciated the water bottle stations on every floor. Nice touch when you're on your way out for the day. Staff were excellent.
- bed was comfortable
- room was quiet
- bathroom was clean
- a short walk to public transportation to downtown Boston
- complimentary airport shuttle
- friendly staff at the reception
- don't need to use elevator, staircase has painted walls and looks more inviting than at many other hotels
This hotel's location is excellent for tourists in Boston within close walking distance of the seafront and downtown and all the sights. Also it is an excellent location for subway travel with the Aquarium stop right outside the hotel and very convenient for travel to airport
Love the facility and location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle was very convenient and the subway station to downtown Boston was close.
The buffet breakfast was adequate. It was not as nice as some other hotels we have visited, but not bad.
The room was great. The location of the hotel was good, close to Massachusetts General Hospital and to downtown Boston. The price was reasonable as compared with other hotels in the area. I would consider this property in my next stay in Boston.
Beautiful hotel. Great facilities. Extremely friendly staff. Great choice of restaurants. Room was magnificent with fabulous view of Boston and the harbour.. Great bus shuttle to downtown and a fabulous ferry ride at weekends.
Luxury hotel, you will be treated as VIP
reception has knowledgeable and support staff especially Mr. Harold
definitely I will come back when visiting Boston
The room was a good size, clean, and had a great balcony with a view of back bay. The hotel is in a good location near Boston Common and the theater district.
