I liked that the hotel was next to the strip in a very convenient location. CVS was a 3min walk from hotel. Target is next to it . The kitchen came in handy and the room was perfect size and the bed was huugeee ! So comfortable . The AC worked very well and lots of space for 4 girls to get ready all at once ! AC controlled in two different rooms , perfect for people with different room temperature preferences. Extra mirror ! Body mirror in closet ! Two sink counters and 2 mirrors in bathroom ! The extra stuff that comes with pullout bed is just a thin paper blanket.I suggest you ask for extra especially if you need to share . I would come back and recommend this place furshur . It a nice clean place , well maintained. Pool area peaceful and clean . Light music playing . Staff are supper nice. We found a great CHEAP breakfast place about 8-15$ a person inside Planet Hollywood , at Ocean One. It’s a 7min walk go before 11:30 breakfast ends then. Lunch specials is $6.99. Take side doors backs doors at hotels as shortcuts to get to different sides of strip without having to go all the way around .
Conveniently located on the Strip at Boulevard South, just 4 blocks north of the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino, Thunderbird Boutique Hotel offers a bar, restaurant and a wedding chapel onsite.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Las Vegas is a blast!
Las Vegas is a blast! You can plan an adult only vacation, or a family friendly vacation. There is so much to do that you'll never have the same experience twice. Parking and the heat can be tricky so have plenty of money for parking, food/drink, and souvenirs. Wear your best walking shoes as you will be walking a lot but it's worth it. If you cannot handle heat, avoid Las Vegas from about June through August, as it can be well over 100 degrees outside.

Too crowded on the Strip and Fremont street but almost empty...
Too crowded on the Strip and Fremont street but almost empty in other places. Also it was unbearably hot in the sun at this time of the year but all casinos were freezing cold.
Local bus pass is the best thing to move around. Ready to eat meals at Wall greens were superb. Try to visit in cooler months and avoid holidays / weekends.

There is so much to do that you will never catch it all.
There is so much to do that you will never catch it all. Pacing yourself is the key. If you have a larger activity tike music at the Sphere, that limits what else you will be able to do. Finding good food is easy. Finding cheap and good food is more challenging, but it is there for certain. Taxis over Uber for cost. Bacchanal has gone down in quality over past experiences there.

Las Vegas exceeded my expectations in every way!
Las Vegas exceeded my expectations in every way! The city is full of energy and excitement, with an endless array of activities to enjoy. The daytime is just as vibrant as the nightlife, with plenty of opportunities for shopping, dining, and exploring. One highlight was the incredible show Absinthe, which left me amazed with its unique blend of acrobatics, humor, and entertainment.
Beyond the strip, the outdoor activities are fantastic—whether it's hiking in Red Rock Canyon, visiting the Hoover Dam, or taking a scenic drive through the Valley of Fire, there's so much natural beauty to explore. The attractions and experiences are so diverse that I couldn't fit everything into one trip. I can't wait to return and discover even more of what this amazing city has to offer!

It was fun, you hould definitly plan your activities ahead...
It was fun, you hould definitly plan your activities ahead of time! Not everything is on display. Most things are inside hotels and casinos so if you're just waslking the strip hoping for fun you might not find it! It seems like a lot of hotels right now are renovating so it's also best to call ahead and check if the facilities you want to you are open and opperating during your stay (I wnet and we didn't have a spa, it was so sad!!) And everything cost money for the most part! So planning ahead can helo a lot with over spending, prepay for all your tickets. (A lot of things have VIP options to skip lines!) but if you aren't going during a busy time I think it shouldn't be too bad.
I would say this is one of the best and most affordable hotels in Las Vegas. Especially as a family and non smoker this was the right hotel to choose. In my perspective its a huge plus that the hotel doesn’t have a Casino, its more quiet and doesn’t smell as bad. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the newer hotel in the area and worth its money when you compare it with the old hug hotels around.(MGM/ Caesar Palace). The view and room of the hotel were amazing. The bathtub was stunning!
Fantastic location in centre of the Las Vegas strip, close to attractions and monorail, yet slightly off the main boulevard so it's not too noisy. Great value compared to other hotels. Room was very big and comfortable. Loved the shower pressure and spacious bathroom. Staff are friendly and doing their utmost best with the huge volume of guests. Bell desk service was great. Loved the 24/7 convenience store and late night food court.
Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly. Hotel was bright, clean and sparkled which means someone is always wiping the surfaces and floors. Breakfast was great and each day had a different hot selection. Location is close to S. Las Vegas Boulevard which is the best road to access all casinos. Also close to hotel were plenty of restaurants and fast food businesses. Quiet rooms. Great stay. Thank you.
Every time we visit Las Vegas, we stay downtown on Fremont at The D! The hotel is always clean and a fun/safe environment. The location is perfect, and we love that there is a live performance/music stage right outside. Check out is at 11, but we requested a late check out for 12, and they did it without any hesitation and glad to do it for us. In Vegas, that extra hour is golden!
We all liked the fact omce you walked in main door the room was super close
Other hotels it could me 1 mile before you find your room
The Pizza place inside the casino is absolutely amazing
Voted best pizza downtown but I could definitely see it being best pizza in Las Vegas
Also the Mexican restaurant is fantastic (try the chicken soup its amazing)
The room is completely equipped with all the things that you need for a nice stay. Cleaness it was super ok, as well as the location of the hotel (at first we planned to rent a car, but if you move with Uber it will be cheaper and you can enjoy more safely of Las Vegas. By car you are in 5-7 min in the heart of Las Vegas).
The hotel is ok. All the negative reviews are a bit overdone. The hotel is the cheapest on the strip and of course it's not a 5 star hotel. Nevertheless it suites the purpose, is cheap and and acceptaby clean. The staff is very friendly. When you take a room a bit further from the elevator there is no noise at all.
Excellent hotel when staying with kids in Vegas. Our family particularly enjoyed use of the swimming pool slides and visiting the circus acts. We also really enjoyed the indooer theme park. Not as glitzy as other hotels on the strip but all in all I would highly recommend for young families visiting Las Vegas.
If you like funky, gritty, vulgar downtown Las Vegas, then this place is a great choice. Circa is the best hotel in the downtown area by far. But if you prefer The Strip, then this place is not your preference. I like the earthy real world atmosphere downtown much more than the Strip which is super phony.
Location! Downtown is less fancy and cheaper, but restaurants and coffee joints are way more interesting in this area than on the Strip. Wifi is not extremely fast but stable (there's a paid speed upgrade available). The continental breakfast is fairly priced. The staff at the bar is friendly.
Cheap and comfortable. Quite far from the center of Vegas, but there is a good bus connection and Walmart shopping center is within walking distance. Very good alternative to staying in expensive hotels on The Strip.
A very decent hotel in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas. A very comfortable bed, a spacious room and a very relaxed staff. Many services in the lobby/casino area. A reasonable hotel in Las Vegas, not too pricy too.
