It’s a little off the main tourist route, which is why it’s worth a visit. In November the weather was great. It was easy to visit the castle and grounds and a bus trip to Tomonoura was great way to spend the day. A little fishing port famous for being in films and again not too busy. In Fukuyama a visit to the Clock and auto museum is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of wonders. It’s full of the past and not just cars and clocks. I’ve never stayed in such a first class hostel. The sliding doors for privacy by each bed are just great! The owner is lovely and strives to give an excellent service. He let me check in early because I arrived by bicycle (twice in fact). I returned because I liked it so much and felt at home.
