First off, the staff was fantastic. Every single person we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable. A/C, huge shower and great WiFi. Front desk staff can arrange any activity you can think of :)

We loved our stay at this lodge in the forest. We booked only 1 night but could have definitely stayed longer. We felt at home, the host was very friendly, the facilities were clean and great. We loved falling asleep and waking up with the sounds of the forest/animals/rain. We truly had a blast :-)

The cabin is part of a family run organic farm and a meaningful non profit organization "Sowing for the Future", bringing kids closer to where their food is coming from, from seed to fruit, so to say, and either for kids or visitors and amazing hands-on experience. I was greeted so warmly by all family members and it felt instantly more like I am a friend coming home then traveling. Great local tips, amazing food with the entire family, and I thoroughly enjoyed all the good conversations and the tour of the operation which is really impressive. I wish all Costa Rican travelers could have this beautiful experience. The cabin overlooks with pretty much a glass front a gorgeous river with volcanoes in the distance. Great spot to cool off along the shoreline or to have a quiet moment watching birds. Plenty of space on the property from a huge porch for everybody to relax and to enjoy, the agricultural areas to explore, the river, the cabin, even a tennis court. An inspiration to novice Costa Rica travelers as well as travelers knowing this gorgeous country already quite a bit.

Amazing garden with lots of frogs, breakfast was delicious. The hotel manager was excellent, very knowledgeable about the frogs in the garden. When we woke up early, he told us a great location to see the volcano uncovered before breakfast.

The staff was very welcoming and always happy to help. The location is incredible, in the middle of the tree. The owner spent the evening talking to us and was very warm. The hotel is huge and the work done to build it is incredible - it truly is a piece of art.
