Everything. Staff were particularly welcoming and helpful.
The stay would have been perfect but being essentially near the motorway, I had to wear earplugs to have a good sleep.
The view from the room is beautiful.
Enjoyable stay. Will use this hotel again.

Nice place with good services. Coud enjoy the swimming pool which was quite big, and had good dinner and breakfast. River nearby and historic building make the hotel special from the inside and outside.

The room was clean and tidy, the beds were good.
The windows had child safety features, the heating, hot water and bath/shower was fine.
All in all it was a great night's stay at a very fair price.
We were all very happy 😊

Hotel was great with wonderful views.
Hotel was great with wonderful views. But the breakfast at the service station is terrible. Do yourself a favour and travel 5 mins south to a much much better option. The next junction south has a truckers cafe just off the main road with ample parking. the food was brilliant and well priced. We will definitely be going back for some more of their breakfast on option.
This hotel is perfect as a long-distance stopover. Despite being situated at a service station just off the M74 the location is beautiful with lots of wildlife around. The room was quiet and very clean, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom also clean and well-equipped with bath/shower, shaver socket and excellent lighting. The receptionist, Lynne was welcoming and helpful.
Handy hint – stop off in Moffat (south of here) for cheap fuel, and for food in the 'Rumbling Tum' cafe.
The Days Inn at Abington, Scotland has a super location. It is located next to a super service area which offers all types of food, general store and a furl station. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This is a basic hotel but in a very good location if you need an overnight stop on a trip up north. It's very good value for money. Plenty of space for walking the dog outside. Morning coffee from Starbucks at the services next door but was a bonus.
I slept like a baby for the first time in weeks. I don't know if it was the drive from Essex, but I hit the pillow and was out like a light. Also, the location does wonders to the hotel's benefit, as the view was stunning.
The general location of Abington south of Glasgow is good as a stopping off point between that area and the borders.
Staff eventually agreed to print out a pass for us to be able to return to Isle of Man
It was great for the price for a stop of hotel, my daughter split her head open on one of the doors & the staff were fantastic, with alcohol wipes & plasters & nearest hospital if needed, cant fault them
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom with bath, big washbasin and good shower.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful. No problem parking the car nearby, and it was free for hotel customers.
A very convenient and well located hotel if travelling and need to stop on route. For the prices it was a bargain. Handy having the service station right next to you for food and coffee etc
Requested a quiet room and was allocated one which was very quiet indeed. Staff are super-friendly and I can highly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money too.
everything was good and staff were cheerful and friendly hotel was easily accessible from the m74 good prices and breakfast provided by good breakfast was really good
Basic hotel but does everything you need, it was quiet despite being on a services, the room was clean enough with all the usual facilities - Tea & coffee, shower.
In a good location for what we needed. Dog friendly and quiet. We were placed at the back of the hotel at the end of a corridor which provided a quieter space.
