A very interesting place to visit. Lots of history and nature. Every tour was interesting, well run and full of new and great information. The tour guides were all easy to understand and full of knowledge. The food included in every tour we took exceeded our expectations. Wonderful fresh seafood selections everywhere we visited. All tours really take care of the natural environment, no rubbish on the beaches here. The visitor centre is a mine of information and bookings can be made for many activities. The shops are interesting and there are many cafes. I particularly liked Green Mango cafe. The museum is a must for people interested in the history of Broome. Town Beach has a very informative memorial to the bombing of Broome in WW2. We travelled by car to various places like the lighthouse, the museum and Chinatown, Cygnet Bay, Willy Creek, Crocodile park, etc. That was the best part. But it is all expensive. Very chilled place, loved it, Short Street Gallery is a must, the bungalow especially if you are interested in art. Loved it all, the sunsets are spectacular, the birds by the mangroves are worth getting up early to listen and look at. It would have been even better if the bus service had run as intended. There are so many experiences close to, and in Broome, that we just added 300km to our hire car the 8 days we were in Broome. We saw the camels on the beach, a crocodile farm, Stairway to the Moon, markets and a fair. Best to book ahead during the peak holiday season.
Best to book ahead during the peak holiday season. Don't wing it and hope to get bookings in tours. During peak season everything was booked. We were very lucky to get the car hire extension and also very luck to get a whale watching tour. Make sure you book a 4WD if you want to get out of town. Camel rides, and turtle kyak tour completely booked out. Plan ahead and book it early.Guest review byAnonymous

Very spacious and clearly newly renovated as all furnishings were spotless. I really liked the 2nd apartment with wrap around verandah and views overlooking Roebuck Bay and it also had a washing machine/dryer which came in very handy for us. A stone’s throw from Matsos brewery across the road and Mangrove Hotel with excellent food next door meant dining options were a stone’s throw away.
