Fantastic location; we were able to walk from the ferry with our luggage in tow. Easy walk to grocery store and restaurants too. The large soaking tub in the bedroom overlooking the Coral Sea was a special treat! Open floor plan with large, well-equipped kitchen and couches. TWO patios overlooking the water.

My partner and I recently spent a fantastic few nights at the Arcadia Motel and had a great time. The location is a definite highlight – it's right next to the Arcadia Hotel and the local bus stop, which makes getting around the island super easy. We were also just a short walk from the beautiful Alma Bay beach and the famous rock wallabies, which was a real treat. While there are more luxurious options in Nelly Bay, the Arcadia Motel was perfect for our needs. We particularly appreciated the relaxed and convenient vibe of the area. The room itself was comfortable, although we did find ourselves wanting a bit more storage space for our belongings during our extended stay. We also needed to grab some additional supplies like towels from the office, but the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of minor points to note: the Wi-Fi and TV reception were a bit hit and miss at times. However, this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the trip. The location and relaxed atmosphere more than made up for it. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning to the Arcadia Motel on our next Magnetic Island adventure.

Our experience at this Resort was just wonderful. The wildlife all throughout the Resort grounds was abundant and cute. We particularly loved to curlews - a bird none of us had ever seen before and was very vocal! The rooms were basic but fit the eco-friendly ambience of the Resort. Asked for something and it was immediately done. Great pool in particular. We loved the place.
