Lots going on with festivals like the Comedy Festival in May and Pride Festival , quite a lot of boats about . Tai Chi classes. Interesting shops , historical sites , Caffi Glyndwr a favourite , the first Parliament building , green spaces - including community allotments growing food, shadey walks . I liked the choice of cafes and eating places . Easy access to beautiful countryside and to the sea . Bike paths and a skateboard park . Everyone I met friendly . We have got to know Machynlleth well as our daughter moved there 5 years ago and we are charmed by the variety of shops and lovely coffee at The Hermit Crab and great food and coffee at Ty Medi, all so close beautiful beaches and mountains.Guest review byHodges

Lots of choice and delicious cooked food too. When we arrived the only staff seemed stressed. When we return later it was very full of dinners and we couldn't a drink as there were no bar staff.
