The staff in the front office were very helpful and full of smiles to greet exhausted guests considering its our first time in Japan. Hiroshima , was the saddest place I visited but thanks GOD I did come to feel and witness where the horrible bombing ,which I only hear and read in books.I cried and nightmares of the photos in the museum. This is a great town.
This is a great town. Underrated in the conversation about Japanese tourism. The city has all the shopping found in the other big cities, but there is more space, the pace is a bit slower, and it is easy to make sense of the layout and transportation. Miyajima is beautiful, and if you go about two blocks uphill from the shopping street, the tourists disappear, and you have river valleys and shrines all to yourself.Guest review byLennUnited States - 10.0

Went to the Atomic bomb dome and the Peace memorial museum, it was a somber experience, hopefully we have learned the inportance of the peace and the thermonuclear bomb will never be used. We saw the Miyajima shrineand torii gate both in high and low tides by taking the Miyajima ropeway to Shishiiwas observatory where you can climb up the Mount Misen.
