Great location, right next to Skogafoss. Clean room. Delicious and filling breakfast, much needed for long hikes nearby. The staff is incredibly helpful. Highly recommend the place!

Keyless entries and communication were great. Compared to other guest houses, it was quite clean. Since we were the first guests to check in, the bathroom and shower were spotless. However, as more people arrived, they left the place quite dirty. Perhaps they should schedule a few rounds of cleaning.

Easily the best place we stayed during our 10 day trip to Iceland. Walk through a meadow to the beach. Watch horses through the kitchen window. Very quiet and peaceful. A great place to stay and explore the south coast.

The bed was comfortable and the location was good.

The location was unbeatable as a departure point for exploring the southern coast. Quiet. Peaceful. And the lodge was lovely. The ladies preparing the breakfast were delightful and friendly and the buffet was robust with a wide selection of cooked food including eggs and sausages, smoked salmon, yogurts, cereals, breads, fruits, coffee, juices. Quite a spread. Despite prior reviews the breakfast was set out by 7 am and guests were eating.

We were a family of 10, 2 families of 4 including young children and 2 grandparents. We rented 4 rooms to accommodate all of us. It would be nice if additional family rooms were available, I called ahead to inquire about food for children like chicken nuggets and fries. This was easily accommodated and kids did not go hungry. We enjoyed delicious artic char, lamb filet, chicken breast and tomato soup. The dessert cake and skyre with fruit was also delicious. The grounds only had a few chickens and goats. The description sounds as though you ate staying on a farm and many animals are nearby.
