The staff were super nice. The accommodations were clean. We got fresh towels every day. The breakfast was amazing! The location was good right next to a train station. It was not too far from everything we wanted to do including Nara, Monkey Park, and a firework festival at the ocean. there was very refreshing free water too.

I loved the interior and all the facilities. The room was spacious for a hotel room in Japan. Additionally, I liked that it was very centrally located (next to Karasuma Station), which allowed for easy access to everything, but it was not in the crowded tourist area of Shijo. Everything was so clean, and the shared bath had a great view to a garden space.

The location and price of this spot are unbeatable. It is part of this large covered pedestrian shopping plaza that connects to the Nishiki fish market and countless shops and restaurants. This was super helpful in the rain/heat we were contending with in our August visit. The front desk was so helpful with tips and any questions we had in general. If you score a room in the north tower you can take the elevator down straight into the 7-11, and that is the tower that has the coffee lounge as well. There is a smaller train station about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and a bigger one about 10 min if you don't want to hassle with more connections.

Location easily accessible and was great. Staff very helpful especially in helping us find good transportation to Kansai airport with the highway bus. Facilities were great with good amenities.
