Criccieth is a beautiful town, smaller and quieter than the other towns on the coast, but the views around the bay are unequaled. The surrounding countryside is the Lynn peninsula at it's best, very untouched and beautiful.

Criccieth is well located and a good place to base yourself for any activity in North Wales. It has shops, pubs and restaurants, although not all the restaurants are open every day of the week , so do check for your chosen dates.

Great castle to visit, a very good interpretive centre at the entrance. Lovely sandy beaches and lots of good cafes and pubs. Handy to bus and train transport. The Castle Chippy does excellent fish & chips, The Prince of Wales is a great pub, and Y Maes food court has a great variety of different cuisines.

Lovely peaceful resort , very good hotel , apart from the early checkout. Try and avoid travelling by train . very unreliable . My journey should have concluded at 4.20pm actually did not conclude until 8.30pm due to disruption on Transport for Wales trains

Criccieth is a pretty little town.

Criccieth is a pretty little town. There aren't loads of restaurants and Poacher had the best reviews but it was full for days in advance so I would suggest booking ahead if you can. The bay is beautiful and it's a great place to wander around. A highlight of our stay was a cute little bar and tapas place called Bar 51. Great cocktails and very nice staff!

The hotel is in a great location, overlooking the seafront and the beach, though neither of our rooms had a sea view. The hotel was very clean and the furnishings were of a high quality and well maintained. The staff were very polite and friendly. A lovely breakfast was included; a mix of buffet items and freshly prepared hot dishes.
