The staff in the front office were very helpful and full of smiles to greet exhausted guests considering its our first time in Japan. Hiroshima , was the saddest place I visited but thanks GOD I did come to feel and witness where the horrible bombing ,which I only hear and read in books.I cried and nightmares of the photos in the museum. It offers more than just an atomic bomb museum, eat Okonomi-yaki, and see a red Torii gate standing in the sea. Vastly different to national heritage of Kyoto and buzzing metropole of Tokyo. the hotel was just minutes from the bus station and train station which was very convenient. as i wanted to ride on the bullet train it was brilliant. also visited the atomic dome. its easy to visit other attractions as their are tour buses at the bus station . there are many places to get something to eat your spoilt for choice.Guest review bysmugdersmithUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This is a great town.
This is a great town. Underrated in the conversation about Japanese tourism. The city has all the shopping found in the other big cities, but there is more space, the pace is a bit slower, and it is easy to make sense of the layout and transportation. Miyajima is beautiful, and if you go about two blocks uphill from the shopping street, the tourists disappear, and you have river valleys and shrines all to yourself.Guest review byLennUnited States - 10.0

Went to the Atomic bomb dome and the Peace memorial museum, it was a somber experience, hopefully we have learned the inportance of the peace and the thermonuclear bomb will never be used. We saw the Miyajima shrineand torii gate both in high and low tides by taking the Miyajima ropeway to Shishiiwas observatory where you can climb up the Mount Misen. A small Lawson is right next to the hotel so it's convenient if got hungry. The room and bathroom is really clean, powerfull shower and the room is not too small have space for a small luggage and has a window for natural light. Laundry machine is good and really powerfull for the dryer. We travelled to Hiroshima Station and took the free shuttle to the hotel. The shuttle was easy to find and exactly on time. It was very efficient and comfortable.
