FAQs about hotels in Blackpool

Beside the Seaside, Beside the Sea

A favored vaction spot since the Victorian era, Blackpool is a traditional English seaside town. Amusement arcades and crazy golf courses line the promenade and dotted between them are plenty of places to pick up fresh fish ‘n’ chips and Blackpool rock.

On the 5-mile sandy beach, children can enjoy Punch and Judy shows and donkey rides. Old-fashioned entertainment at its best. At the other end of the scale is the Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a fairground complex comprising a variety of rides, including The Big One - once the world’s tallest and steepest rollercoaster. They actually had to get permission from nearby Blackpool Airport to erect it!

More seaside pursuits are on the town’s 3 piers, one of which is Grade II listed. However, the most recognizable landmark is the Blackpool Tower which houses a circus, 4D cinema and a world-renowned ballroom, to name a few. Modeled on the Eiffel Tower, it is spectacularly lit during the annual Blackpool Illuminations, when the whole town is bathed in bright lights. The trams plying the prom are also lit. Look out for the one shaped like a ship.

A popular bachelor and bachelorette destination, Blackpool has accommodations ranging from North Shore hotels to South Shore B&Bs - see Booking.com for the best choice.

We have always loved blackpool there's always something to do even in bad weather . The shows at viva are amazing and a great atmosphere, don't like the usual pubs as too rowdy and over crowded. Daytime you can visit Cleveleys Fleetwood or St Anne's just a tram ride away all lovely places highly recommended

Good seaside town. Plenty to do for young and old. Gets a little crazy on an evening with partygoers but hey we all there to enjoy ourselves in different ways. If you get chance to visit the showtown museum then please do, it a great little attraction with loads of interactive exhibits to keep everyone entertained. Coral island restaurant was a great place to eat with quality meals at affordable prices and the kids ate free as well.

I really enjoyed taking my family to the tower circus we had vip ringside tickets which was nice. We ate out at a all you can eat buffet which was nice we where recommended it by the tourist agency the young lady in there called lilly was really helpful. The travelling up and down was nice on the trams but I wish they would bring back the 24 hr ticket which was handy. Also the tower split in to different zones it would be nice if they brought back one ticket price covers all sections of the tower so people could see the circus the ballroom and top of the tower I thought with blackpool council taking over that might introduce this so they would get more visitors in there viewing the whole of the magnificent tower.

I have always loved Blackpool, just be aware of your possessions at all times. It's dirty & neglected in many places - missing the Bonny street market which is now a pile of rubble. Too many expensive eateries with bad service on the Prom

Cheap hotel right next to a tram stop. Surprisingly the entertainment wasn't too bad. If you want a cheap stay in Blackpool then this is passable as an option. Don't expect the best for the price. If you used to 5 star then keep looking. We just wanted a cheap few nights away with our daughter and didn't expect the hight of luxury so we wernt disappointed with the place. Dont book and then complain because the staff do understand that there are some problems.

The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. They go out of thier way to ensure a comfortable stay. Cheap and cheerful. Standard room with TV, shower and toilet. So close to everything you need, cafes, amusements, seafront, blackpool tower, high street. No curfews come and go as you please. Great lounge area when you're not in your room. Bar area. Smoking area. Thank you Sellina and family for an amazing stay. Would recommend 👌

This hotel is wonderful, Wendy keeps a spotlessly clean hotel with parking, cosy rooms and a beautifully cooked breakfast each morning. Our family of 5 was welcomed by Wendy and felt cared for throughout our stay. The hotel is in a wonderful quiet location with Pleasure Beach and South Pier seconds away and a tram stop across street to help you venture Blackpool. Would highly recommend and will hopefully stay again.
