We selected the apartment as it had a kitchen which was well supplied with utensils. We also are great walkers and certainly loved walking the area even up to the Botanical Gardens. Koloa is a charming town that made a great home base for our trip. We especially loved Kiahuna Beach—it’s sandy and much more comfortable for swimming and lounging compared to the rockier spots at Poipu and Brennecke’s Beach. Poipu is great for snorkeling, but definitely bring water shoes for the rocks! For the best mix of sandy beach and safe snorkeling, Lydgate Beach Park is worth the short drive—perfect for families and less crowded. For daily needs, Big Save was our go-to for groceries, and Longs Drugs was convenient for prescriptions and essentials. We also enjoyed happy hour at Kalapaki Joe’s—great spot to unwind. One tip: skip the local Starbucks (unfortunately not the friendliest experience), and head to Lappert’s instead for excellent coffee, delicious treats, and genuinely warm service.Guest review byLindsayUnited States - 10.0

Koloa is a perfect location for a south shore visit. We especially liked Poipu beach and the historic old town Koloa. The Koloa Fish Market is a great place to eat in or take out fresh fish meals. We enjoyed the view of the jungle-like gardens, the short walk to baby beach, the convenience to other beaches, and the nearness to Waimea Canyon. It was so beautiful, the locals were so kind and inviting. We went to poipu beach and there were 20 turtles one of the nights we were there. The food was awesome. We ate at Kenji Burgers, Brennekes, Sunday brunch at The Grand Hiatt, We hope to come back again some day.Guest review byAnonymous

It was also very good location for traveling to other destinations. The bed in the bedroom was large and very comfortable (one of the best beds I have seen during my travels). Accommodation provides online assistance and they are very helpful with any types of questions almost anytime. Parking was right by the house.
