Location right at the bottom of the tram to the train station. Buffet Breakfast was excellent. The front desk gave us a room with a nice view as we asked for.

This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful renovated lake-side villa in an idyllic quiet town; both times we stayed in the amazing lake-view room with balcony. Right next to stops for boat, bus or even cable car for a trip up the local mountainside where there is plenty to explore. Clean tepid lake-water for swimming in the hot summer. Staff are gracious and cannot do enough to make stay enjoyable. Breakfast is delicious, served on terrace overlooking lake.

What a perfect stay! I came to celebrate my birthday and couldn’t have chosen a more perfect hotel. The staff were wonderful and kind, and intuitive with anything I could possibly need. The room was spacious and beautiful and I loved the private garden! The whole hotel is stunning and the views from the main garden are spectacular. Both of the property’s restaurants had wonderful service and food, and breakfast each morning was delicious. The town of Morcote is so charming, and I loved being able to explore and spend time by the lake. I would recommend using a car to get to the hotel or into the town in case of low physical fitness or any mobility issues, as the climb is very steep with lots of stairs. This place is so special, I’m going to miss it dearly!

Hotel is very nice, located in a quiet part of Morcote. It is only about 12 min walk from Morcote center. Has its own little platform for swimming and sunbathing which is a plus. The staff are very friendly. Rooms are nice, clean and renovated.

    Perfect location, wonderful Rovio feeling in old building with Generoso view. All you need is there, very clean and if there is something else you need Katya and Emilio will sort it (adaptor plug in our case!) You get also a lot of info about the village - highly recommended.

    Nice place, nice location, nice view! Kitchen is well equipped; the terrace is great, so you can really relax. Parking was easy and check in and check out was easy as well. Our host was very nice and welcoming. You get what you pay for.

    Excellent view, I worked there for the first days, very relaxing and productive. 20 chf for my dog for the whole stay was reasonable, som hotels charge per day. In late september evenings still mild enough to stay outside late.
