We were there specifically to visit the WW1 memorial museum.
We were there specifically to visit the WW1 memorial museum. The traffic was busy, but not bad. The museum was the best we have ever seen! And we have seen quite a few. Beautiful, powerful, sad and haunting throughout. The Orangewood hotel next to the airport was clean, well run and very reasonable, and the dinner food was surprisingly good! Loved the Country Club Plaza for shopping. They could use at least one large department store like Dillards, Macy's or Nordstroms . There was nothing good about our 2 night stay. The hallways were hot. The air only worked in our rooms. The sheets & towels were dirty. We requested to be moved from the first set of rooms that had a horrible unclean smell in the bathroom. The next set of rooms were worse. The guy at the front desk was not frienldly at all.I emailed the manager for this location on Monday to express my concerns & I haven't received a reply back. It seems like this location obviously has had complaints that they care not to address! I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay at this hotel.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We enjoyed the City market downtown. It was awesome. There was fresh produce, flowers, jewelry, plants, etc. It was very nice. The weather was beautiful and we walked and enjoyed the day. The scenery was beautiful there. We did go to the Arabia Steamboat Museum and it was very interesting. Way more than we expected. We loved it! All I can say is thank you we will be back .. the front desk sovion the only young black male was on point and friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful he was the only front end I dealt with and he was extremely helpful thank you for having a staff member of his status .
