The hosts were very kind, supportive. It was a great accommodation. We came very late in the evening, but the host was still be able to prepare us a wonderful dinner (at 10PM!). Breakfast was also included in the accommodation. Food was very delicious. We stayed at Vusanje valley for three days as a part of our Peaks Of The Balkans Trail. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location. The host gives clear directions on how to get there. This is an old house not a cabin and we loved its rustic charm. The host was very helpful in organizing a jeep ride.

The tenant was incredibly kind and welcoming—I was even offered slippers at the door, which gave it a very homey feel while avoiding dirtying the place with hiking boots. The food was great, and there was a chance to connect with locals, which made the stay more memorable. Be mindful the location isn't pinned on Google Maps, so a bit of orientation skills is needed.

    We went there to hike Prokletije mountains.

    We went there to hike Prokletije mountains. Usually we use small tents for camping so this was a huge step up in comfort. Prokletije offer so many trails and 5 days was just to get the taste. The area is going through this tourist transformation phase and will be more and more crowded with time, but you still can get authentic people, spontaneity and sincerity in abundance. In my book: in the league of Alps for the fraction of the price with a lot of extras.

    I had a wonderful time in Vusanje!

    I had a wonderful time in Vusanje! The village is surrounded by stunning mountains and nature everywhere you look. The people were so friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing—fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. I can’t wait to visit again!

    We had a wonderful stay, the family who run Riverside were so kind & helpful. The cabin/bungalow was very clean, small yet well designed & laid out. Perfect - excellent value for money. Delicious home cooked food including home grown veg, & fresh trout straight from the pond. I want to return !
