Super nice staff. Perfect location, just two blocks south of the main pedestrian pathway that leads straight to the plaza. There’s not too much to see north of the plaza so being at the south end is perfect. Very hot water! Great Wi-Fi.

We really love the staff because they were so kind to us. What is more, we had to go back home at night and the assistant guy took us to the bus station. Another special thing he did was to prepare a dinner for us. That was unique. Apart from that, the room was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful and special time there.

    Many Peruvian writers talk about Jauja in their books because it is a little gem in the heart of the Andes. The town is full of history and the places to visit (lakes, ruins, city center) are so peaceful and beautiful. You can find different types of Peruvian dishes all over town. I had breakfast in the town’s market and it was very affordable and delicious. Lastly, the people of Jauja will welcome you with open arms. One thing to take into account is that Jauja is located at 11089 ft. above sea level so take it easy when walking, running, etc. (altitude sickness may happen if not careful).
