The staff were all so welcoming and helpful! The place is just lovely and the rooms were big and nicely decorated. They also booked our transportation for us to and from the airport. They were very responsive to all communication prior to our stay. We would definitely return if we are ever in Johannesburg again.

The layout of the property on the side of the cliff was amazing. The staff at the resort and the restaurant were always smiling and helpful. We were a group of five and everyone loved the food. We also went to the Spa and enjoyed the spa area and services.

The size of the property was big enough to have a dining room but small enough that we felt like we were part of a family visiting from out of town. Rooms were large and comfortable, and decorated nicely. The patio, gardens and library nook added exceptional places to relax. Staff were so friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to Joberg and they helped us map out places to see that were not necessarily on the prime tourist lists.

    I've been to Joburg so many times but its always fun to visit. I took the Red Bus around which was a first for me. Museums, galleries, cafe's and bars plus the general city vibe. Everyone knows Joburg is edgy but if you have an open mind you'll love it

    I was in Rosebank during my stay but also manged to visit...

    I was in Rosebank during my stay but also manged to visit Sandton and Fourways. All the places I visited i enjoyed everything from the food, secure atmosphere and good quality stuff for shopping. However, I didn't visit the CBD because of the stories of crime and dangers thus I was advised not to go there.

    Visiting JHB after 32 years was shocking to see how it has deteriorated. It's full of garbage everywhere, filthy and dirty. Pot hopes everywhere you go. Most people live behind burglar bars, even driving in black location areas they have burglar bars. Taxi drivers are mad driver and forcing people to comply with their demands, they burnt a uber taxi driver alive and further up north they were setting cars alight. Taxi drivers are dangerous and very aggressive on the roads.

    Great for shopping, especially at the China Mall there is huge variety of products for home and all sort of startup business products. only one thing to remember is morning/afternoon workers traffic flow. Always be careful on the lookout for potholes and robots not working.

    Generally a clean place. Well defined litter boxes and an organized traffic flow. A well maintained place by the concerned municipality. Well done. However, some shopping areas are a security risk to Travellers. Need to have detailed security in such places.
