AustraliaLovely quaint motel 1km from center of town. Very comfortable bed and the room was immaculately clean. Team coffee facilities, KAYO on the Telly and microwave for those who eat in. It was very good.

AustraliaThe hosts (Cassie & Cameron) were welcoming and thoughtful. They checked if I needed anything, etc, and also responded to me quickly if I messaged them. The tiny house was very clean, with clear and simple signage that helped me navigate the set-up, such as using the cassette toilet. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The view of the stars through the tress while sitting on the deck was a highlight.

Staying in Maldon is like stepping back in time, when life was simpler. The shops are more than adequate and have a large selection of antiques shops, to fossick through. There is an IGA supermarket, newsagent and pharmacy in the main street. There is a true sense of community and the locals will always have a chat to you. It would be great if the choice of restaurants and hotels, would be more consistent. I would recommend to prebook, especially for the Easter Festival, but even then unexpected things happen, which leaves you trying to find places to eat. The pubs serve classic pub food. Looking forward to trying Francos Italian restaurant and hoping French restaurant Le Sol, goes back to serving dinners. The Golden Nugget Restaurant in Porcupine Village, serves a delicious, Sunday, roast lunch.Guest review byDianneAustralia

We met the owner, Adrian who was very friendly, helpful and made us feel comfortable. We appreciated our stay and also have been back as it is a great stay and very affordable with easy access to Maldon Main Street and our fishing and gold prospecting activities.
