Great family run property and really nice, they were always very helpful and the son spoke great English, even helped my son learn some Italian! Decent breakfast in the morning, nothing fancy but got the job done. No frills but clean and well maintained, older property.

The rooms are very nice and are large, with a great shower. Breakfast is wonderful. Vincenzo makes a great cappuccino and the ricotta is the best in all of Italy. If you are going to the Selinunte Archaeological Park, it is right across the road within walking distance. Vincenzo's recommendations for dinner were so good we went back twice. This is our second time staying at Il Tempio Di Hera, and should we return to Selinunte, we'll stay here again!

Well the previous reviewers weren't lying about the epic breakfast! Such a cute place, with several outside areas including a rooftop terrasse. You can see the sea from parts of the terrasse and roof. Friendly owners.

This property was a little Oasis.. Seriously! It was on a bit of a main road heading to Selinunte but it was quiet, remote, clean and had a fantastic host. The room was very nice, very clean and I had a giant balcony were I enjoyed some wine and the grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful (see pictures) and since I'm not much of a breakfast person the host even offered to wrap it all to go, which I didn't want but it was a nice offer. In peak season, on a long hot day, I am sure this place would be even more amazing

Exceptional in all respects. Warm welcome. Lovely house, garden and swimming pool. Superb breakfast and good recommendation for an evening meal. Not far from very interesting Selinunte archaeological sites. We would like to have stayed longer.

Small and calm village.
Small and calm village. There is one shop and few good restaurants.
We had everything what we needed. But for someone who needs more action could be boring after few days. We visited Palermo, Marsala, Trapani, Erice. It's posible to use public transport for all those trips also with children (we have 3).

Visiting the archaeological park - definitely YES (4-5h), accommodation / stay in Marinella - definitely NO:
- clean beaches are basically only payable, free beaches are dirty, and in the water a very large amount of algae (much better situation and warmer water in the town next door - Triscina).
- watch out for sellers and cashiers trying to deceive the tourist at every step (no prices on goods or a different price on the goods, and a different price at checkout). Only in this town we have encountered fraud attempts on such a scale (both in the grocery store and in the supermarket). Extremely fair service at the bakery.

Thank you Guieseppe for our fantastic holiday. The garden was stunning and the swiming pool perfect! Two shops, one restaurant and great bakery around 100m they have good food and wine. We used public transport. Buses to Castelvetrano drive every other hour. From Castelvetrano ride the train along the coast. I recommend a visit to the archaeological park Selinunte. Very good food and very friendly people make Sicily the perfect place for a holiday with five kids.

This charming little hotel from yesteryear is just perfect. The location in front of the beach is spectacular. The very large balcony with a view into forever is marvelous. The rooms are simple but nice and large, including the bathroom. A cloths drying rack was available for us on the balcony which is exactly what you need at the beach! The breakfast was served with love and our hostess made sure everyone was happy.
Breakfast was not included in our stays but Estelle, suggested we had some at the hotel next door where she had pre negotiated a good rate. The little town was buzzing with people, we ate on the restaurant beneath, very tasty food. Perfect location to visit Selinunte ruins. Walking distance. Lovely beach opposite. Sadly we didn’t have time to enjoy it, but it looked inviting.
I love everything about the property! Fantastic staff, excellent food, great location, fantastic architecture and decor, rooms could not have been more clean or beautifully designed. Would love to come back,. I give this hotel my highest rating and would recommend it to family and friends.
The staff were more than friendly, they were welcoming and helpful. For example when our cat, who was on a leash, was reluctant to leave the lobby for a walk outside the proprietress laughed, picked her up and carried her outside. the breakfast was excellent. and the view incredible.
Excellent location, spacious comfortable room, lovely deck with chairs, secure metal blind. Pretty quiet. Easy and free street parking. Beds were very comfortable! we walked to the ruins, quick and easy! Restaurants and bars, plus beach area, nearby. Very nice host!
Very friendly staff. Great location near the archaeological park. The family tales pride in this facility and made is feel very welcome. There is a very nice breakfast room. The bedroom is large and there is enclosed parking in front of the hotel.
Quiet and comfortable hotel in perfect location, fantastic breakfast with home cooked regional specialities and a lovely owner who gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant which turned out to be the best meal we had in our three week trip.
A really fantastic family run B&B. Huge pool, lovely room with terrace, very helpful staff and convenient for the archeological site. Best value for money during our recent trip to Sicily and we stayed in 7 hotels in total.
Very pleasant stay. Easy reachable by vehicle and safe parking. Good wifi and aircon. Wonderful breakfast! Host Maria is a fresh, helpful breeze and serves an excellent breakfast.
Every detail. The floors shined. The hosts very welcoming. The gardens and pool area were resort quality. The towels, the sheets, all first rate. Breakfast was also excellent.
Very clean and cosy place. Tasty and “colorful” breakfast and very hospitable, communicative and nice lady who looks after the hotel. Much recommended.
