I have had a really comfortable stay at this resort. I got a awesome breakfast, lunch and dinner all served to the terrace in front of the room. The owner is a very kind person and the delicious breakfast was prepared even at 5:50am. The beach is stunning and I almost had the beach for myself.

I did not stay here while in Kirinda due to limited space (the owner and I connected on Whatsapp and he helped in finding me another property nearby) but most of the people in my group did. I wanted to write a review based on my experience with the property and the communication with the host when they realized that they were double booked. We had dinner for 16 there and it was amazing. The Host family is great and the property is in an amazing location. My friends that stayed there loved it. It’s a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but from what I could see it’s worth it!

Kirinda heaven is a new hotel in the Yala National Park area. We arrived late, and the proud owner welcomed us enthusiastically. Fresh paint, new furnishings, new everything greeted us including the perfectly maintained pool. At only a few rooms, it's a great small place to chat with fellow guests.

It is a nice little hotel with a beautiful garden and nice villas. The staff is very friendly. The food is very tasty and overall worth what you pay there.
kirinda rajamaha viharaya, yala safari , situlpauwa, tissamaharama and kataragama are nearest places to be visited in kirinda.kirinda beach resort also has restaurant and there are so many restaurants in kirinda as well as within 10 km in tissamaharamaya.
Wonderful doting hosts. Loved the location, and the food. They arranged the safari, which like the hotel was quite reasonable. There is lots to see around the neighborhood;, beach, Buddhist site, trails up the beachhead.
Anecdote: I am walking back towards the hotel, I just bought a snack and water at a local place. A scooter pulls up next to be, and a fellow hands me a few thousand rupis. I had apparently dropped them on tje street after buying somosas, and he was returning my money.
This is the kind of place Kirinda is.
What a great property! Hightly recommended.
We had our own bungalow surrounded by garden.
The hosts were very welcoming. They organised a tour at Bundala National Park for us at very late notice and both the dinner and breakfast was great.
The host has a resident salt-water crocodile that he feeds fish to, so that was a surprising bonus!
They also have a couple of bikes that they let us use to go for a ride into town to check out the beach, which is only a couple of kilometres away.
Thanks for having us!
It felt like coming home... The staff and proprietor (Patricia Larkin) were absolutely lovely and it felt so soul-soothing. The shoreline was spectacular. Patricia and her staff went out of their way to arrange a great jeep driver and turn out delicious meals that were sometimes off the menu. I'd certainly see myself returning to this gem of a place tucked away on Nidangala beach!
This was nicely located in Kirinda, 30 mins away from safari spot. Nuwan, owner of the hotel took really good care of us. We faced challenge in getting a cab to Mirissa but he sorted that out as well. Would highly recommend staying here for good staff, good food and safari experience. Not to forget the beautiful birds that grace the location.

This was one of the best places we stayed during our trip in Sri Lanka. we felt very welcomed by the staff who were always available for us and super flexible. we had amazing homemade meals. Our stay felt like a home. we will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Yala.
Amazing underated location right by the beach. Beautiful rocks and temple to explore (great for enjoying the sunset) all within a couple of minutes' walking distance from the house. Staff were super helpful in organizing a yala tour for us and also making food to take with us!
Very! good location exactly on the beach. In amazing garden. Very friendly staff and host made everything exciting. Animals walkin through property and fishermenn swimming out atbthe beach. If you want something organic and free-spirited. This is paradise.
We liked everything! It was new , clean, comfortable , the swimmingpool was refreshing and perfectly suitable for the weather. To add the staff were really nice and they cooked a lovely diner. The service was the best we had till now in all of sri lanka.
Very pretty and tranquil property, lots of greenery, very well kept. It’s quite isolated but close to Yala National Park which is the most important. 2 gentleman running it were very helpful and attentive too. Bungalows are very spacious and clean.
