Nature friendly decoration n very much calm place to stay. Near to beach n all the main restaurants around the corner.

My stay was spectacular. I stayed here for a week, then returned for another 1.5 weeks. Benjamin easily accommodated my last minute request for a much needed early check in, as well as my last min booking for the second stay. I had the room on the top floor. It was beautiful and exactly like the pics. The AC worked very well and I could control it. The bathroom was very clean and nice, which is really my only requirement for a residence. The bed was super comfy and I really appreciated that there was a proper duvet. I also really like that there was a good hair dryer and it even had the attachments! Padmini and Gamini were wonderful hosts, and made me a fantastic breakfast every morning. This hotel started to feel like home. It is a few min walking distance to a small and modern shopping complex which has a good grocery store, a pharmacy, a Subway, Baskin Robbins, and Popeyes. It is a few mins walk from Mount Lavinia hotel and the beaches. The road can get a little dark at night, but I felt safe. It was very easy to call an Uber and it was walking distance to the main road, where Hotel Rd meets Dehiwala.

The place of the location is good. Near to all places I needed to go. The staff and the cleanness were excellent. But the room was quite small and it was not possible to open the window. Also no ventilation, so fresh air was a bit the problem.
Piliyandala is the main little town the area. However, most properties in the vicinity are lake fronted (or close to it). The lake is called Bolgoda lake.
From a tranquil holiday to a romantic getaway or if you want to soak in adventurous water sports, there are many places that will cater to your need.
Since Bolgoda is close to Colombo, it is like a tranquil getaway from the city, but within a 45 minute drive form the capital.
