Whilst I didn't see much of it, I wouldn't stay here. Just travel through on way to Aeolian islands. Surprisingly, no taxi's or uber's at train station when I arrived from Palermo so I had to hitch-hike (lol)!

It's not Taormina which is obviously the jewel in the crown of Sicily but it's a nice town to wander around and the restaurants are good and plentiful. We stayed there specifically to be close to the Aolian Boat tours (which I don't recommend).

What I liked most were the hospitality and generosity of the father/daughter hosts. They were supremo! Outstanding! Wunderbar! We also enjoyed the Norman castle which was very close. And there was a wonderful 🐢 who loved to be massaged by the proprietor.., and a handsome Husky dog! All Bueno!

The views from the hotel (including Etna) were just fantastic (we booked sea-view). The location was great for ius as it was a short walk to lots of interesting places for us, and the staff were really friendly ( a bit more english would have been helpful but wasn't necessary)

Milazzo is a beautiful coastal city rich in history, culture and architecture. I was there for just two days as the purpose of us staying there was our sail to the Isole Eolie, but I did notice the city offers excellent shopping and all types of dining and nightlife. And the day and nighttime views of the Aeolian sea and mainland Sicily were gorgeous. As Italian/American tourists, I was delighted how friendly the locals were to us on the street and in the stores/restaurants. Be prepared to pay for parking wherever you go though day and night. I would certainly visit this city again.

We only stayed for 1 night before a ferry to the islands but had a very pleasant stay! The owners are lovely, welcoming and kind and helped us check in and even provided some lovely croissants and coffee and helped us get a taxi to the port in the morning. The rooms are very clean and spacious with air conditioning, the bed and pillows were so comfortable - just as good as a luxury hotel! Be sure to go to West beach ‘Spiaggia di Ponente’ just a 3 minute walk away, some of the clearest water we’ve seen in Sicily, absolutely stunning!

I arrived in at the port of Milazzo by bus from Catania. Then I took a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the Affitacamere where I was welcomed by a very polite English speaking receptionist, who offered me a coffee. I was accomponied to my room which I found to be at a comfortable temperature. The room is simple but tastefully furnished, and extremely quiet. There is a very functional and clean toilet and shower in the room. It was definately a good place to spend a night in Milazzo and I would say at a fair price.

The location was terrific....five minute walk to restaurants and shops and to the port. We did a boat tour that returned at 11 pm and it was a quick, safe walk back to the hotel when we were very tired! There was a grocery store within walking distance as well. The room was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was typical Italian breakfast, but many choices were available. The room was quiet at night as well. Overall very nice stay!

Our stay at Solaris couldn’t have been better. We only stayed in Milazzo for one night but if we had known it was so nice we would’ve stayed longer. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable - we also appreciated the theme of of the room. The staff were also very kind and served a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would not have changed a thing about our stay. I should also add that the check-in and check out was incredibly easy and seamless.

The roof terrace (where we eat breakfast in particular) is very pleasant; our junior suite was very large and very well decorated (frescoes painted on the walls, stucco decorations, beautiful furniture) The hostess of this hotel is very pleasant and efficient. For those who go to the Aeolian Islands (and there are many of them in Milazzo) the hotel is located 150 meters walk from the "aliscafi" Liberty Lines pier.

Santo was a really good host and pointed out the best things to do in Milazzo. It is also convenient that Santo has a parking garage where you can park you car. Esspecially in the one-way street filled Milazzo, parking can be a nightmare. Rooms were clean and very modern. The location is ideal for going to the ports to buy a ticket to the Aeolians islands as well as exploring Milazzo and its surroundings.

The B&B is centrally located near the entrance to the port from where the cruises depart. The owner of the place is very helpful. Paid parking (blue line) near the hotel or in the parking lots in the nearby streets. New, clean rooms, equipped with a coffee machine, coffee and a minibar. Highly recommend the B&B.

We were stuck in Milazzo because the boats to the Aeolian Islands were cancelled due to bad weather. While there is not much to recommend Milazzo itself, this B&B is an excellent place to stay. The hostess was extremely nice and the room was comfortable and real value for money.
