Hammock Homestay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

A few steps from Bai Lang Beach in Tân Hiệp, Hammock Homestay features accommodations with access to a public bath.

The owner of the homestay went above and beyond during and after our stay. We forgot our Kindle in the common space and left the island without noticing it. She found it and wrote to us and later arranged it to be delivered to our hotel in Da Nang. We really appreciate it. She also speaks English well and it is very easy to communicate. She explained us what can we do in the island and where to go for swim or snorkel. It is possible to arrange speed boat tickets or a motorbike rental with the homestay. Location was good and a quick walk from the port. Room was clean and had both AC and a fan. We will stay again if we come back to the island.

Tuan Thanh Homestay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Just steps from Tan Hiep Market, Tuan Thanh Homestay is a 3-minute walk from Cham Island Pier. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and free WiFi access.

The homestay location is great. It's a few metres away from the dock yet not too loud. The rooms are not too big but it was kept very clean. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel at home as soon as we entered. Booked the speed boat tickets and snorkeling trip with them. It was worth the money and a lot cheaper than going through a tour company. We had dinner at the homestay and it was elaborate and scrumptious. The host also cooked crab for me the next day on request. Will definitely recommend this place.

Just a 2-minute walk from Bai Ong Beach and half a mile from Bai Lang Beach, Trang Vu Homestay Cu Lao Cham features accommodations in Tân Hiệp, with a shared lounge.

My favorite place that we’ve stayed in Vietnam. Beautiful views from the front, amazingly welcoming and kind owners and great location. We were looked after from the minute we stepped in and felt at home. Free water and basic but comfortable rooms.

Nhi Lo Home Stay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Offering a garden and a shared lounge, Nhi Lo Home Stay in Tân Hiệp is close to Bai Bim Beach and Bai Huong Beach. This beachfront property offers access to free Wifi and free private parking.

Mama Nhi and Papa Lo are attentive hosts, even though we have little common language between us, we were mostly able to communicate and understand each other! It is a home stay, so you are very much sharing a home with your hosts and other travelers. Mama Nhi is an excellent cook and all our meals were delicious especially dinner, mostly vegetarian with some little bit of fish/seafood. Fishing with Papa Lo was an experience, going out in a small basket boat, we didn’t catch anything but that’s alright, it was enjoyable just being in one of those boats.

Hiep Tung homestay, hotel in Tân Hiệp

Located in Cham Island in Tan Hiep, 1.6 mi from the Cham Island Harbor, Hiep Tung homestay offers accommodations with free WiFi and barbecue facilities. Some units feature a terrace and/or balcony.

The owners are amazing. They treated me so nicely and always asked me if I was hungry and they gave me some treats when I came back to the land. The room is not so big and it has air con. Because I’m a solo traveller it’s enough for me. Overall, i really love my time staying here.

Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip

Perfect place for relaxing, sun bathing and enjoying more peaceful side of life on an island with no cars. Best beaches we've seen in Vietnam and no large hotel resorts. Locals very friendly, almost like living in one big family. Highly recommended.

    1. Pick a scorching sunny day for best snorkelling/diving experiences. The water on cloudy days will not be clear enough to see the corals while you might suffer from jelly fish. 2. If you like busy atmosphere with more options for food, stay in Lang Beach (the main beach) 3. Otherwise spend at least 1 night in Huong Beach for a stunning view of sunset and peaceful atmosphere. 4. Be cautious when using plastic. Plastic bags are banned on the island, but you can still spot plastics cups/straws/containers.
