Frankly, I have never ever stayed in such a beautiful, comfy and tranquil place as Azanti Suites. I was blown away with the whole experience. Room was SUPER clean and beautifully decorated (modern & minimalist, but yet cozy with a luxurious feel). Room and private patio with private pool had a direct view of the sea with its mind-blowing sunsets. The Hotel is located in a VERY tranquil and quiet area next to the sea at 10 minute walking distance of beautiful Megalochori with its excellent restaurants (if not, be mindful when walking to Megalochori at night: take a light, as the traffic is rather heavy and there is minimal space next to the road to walk on). Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully on a large tray every morning at the time I had requested. The Staff was very friendly and gave me top notch service, with a special shout-out to Reinia: Thank you for your kind reception and excellent client services!
Mesanto Luxury Suites is set in Megalokhori, 3.1 mi from Santorini Port. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides free WiFi access.

Location was amazing, very close to a small traditional town with restaurants and shops. The set-up for the family was great. The jacuzzi was a very nice addition. Beds were very very comfortable. Parking was very useful. The check in was smooth, and they cleaned the room every day with fresh towels and linen. We loved everything about it. Thank you !

The views from the Room were fantastic, overlooking the blue waters. The room was comfortable, bathroom with tub was good and the Balcony to sit in and soak in the views. The Staff was particularly helpful with Parking, arranging a photographer, etc. The breakfast has good spread with very attentive staff. Good conversations as well.

We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the sugar moon suite. It was a tremendous stay, Memi and other hotel staff were awesome. Thank you again!

Loved Megalochori: little beautiful village with its colorful houses, churches and little back alley streets. It was as if I was walking in a big painting or Theatre set. Met many friendly people; visited cozy restaurants and enjoyed tasty meals. Hope to visit many more times in future!

The property is absolutely immaculate!!
The property is absolutely immaculate!! Romantic & Relaxaing!!
Complimentary breakfast was excellent, too!!
Public Transportation not easily accessable - eventhough the bus stop is only a 3 minutes walk. The sidewalk isn't user friendly - very Narrow & lots of outgrown weeds. You can take a bus to Fira from that bus stop - just do it in the morning - at night that area isn't walkable - from Megalochori to Fira is only 1,60 euros. However, from Fira took Uber back to hotel is about 36 Euros! After you arrived Fira bus station, you can take another bus to Oia for another 1,60 euros.
We shouldn't have booked a split level room because there's a steep stairs to climb up to your bed :(

Megalochori is just a small village 5 kms south of the city centre Fira. It is less touristic and will suit people seeking for accommodation that is not so busy and hectic. It has some good restaurants and even a winery that sells fantastic red and rosè wine.

The village is very traditional and much less touristy than the other towns. There is a good selection of restaurants (7/8 maybe) and all of them are lovely, only 1 or 2 serve breakfast though. There are some lovely vineyards in the village too, some cooking classes and horse riding excursions. It's a small village so not huge amounts to do so more of a relaxing base from which to explore the Island. There was a small shop although the opening times were sporadic so we stocked up at the larger supermarkets just out of the village.
We hired a car to get around and there is free parking in the village, the island is very small so it only takes 40 minutes to get to the other side, I think the local busses call through too although we didn't use these.
We went with our 2-year-old who loved the local playground, although there were a lot of cobbles (as with all the villages) which made the buggy difficult.

This town was a great location on the island.
This town was a great location on the island. Not to close to the over touristed towns but easy access to them. The Town has everything you need, good restaurants, wineries and the best bakery in the island.

Megalokhori is a beautiful place and the people are incredibly friendly. I would recommend having a car as the mini-markets are over-priced and have a very limited supply of fresh food. There are only a few restaurants, a couple of which are over-priced, so a car would take you to the beach restaurants once you've exhausted the reasonable restaurants in the square. Very, very pretty though.
We only stayed one night in Santorini, but if I were to go again, I would very much consider staying here. Chris was truly wonderful and gave us LOTS of information on how to best use our time. We weren't able to see everything we wanted on Santorini in one day, so maybe we'll go back! My family of 5 really enjoyed exploring Megalochori. It's a really cute Greek island town without the crazy crowds of Fira. The room was perfect for our family, and we enjoyed sitting in on the deck and in the hot tub enjoying sunset views.
Marcos was such an amazing host! He was available within a few moments notice and provided a ton of helpful recommendations on what to do on the island. He arranged taxis to/from the port and helped us set up a car rental which was brought right to our room. The location was absolutley beautiful with a huge patio overlooking the water. We were able to walk to town, super markets, restaurants and a great little trail leading to the "heart of Santorini". We would highly recommend booking with Cliff Reflections :)
- Great host, always available and such a nice lady. She had a small typical greek café/restaurant right below the house. Though we arrived late and it was fully booked, she had food delivered to us on order (great typical greek dishes).
- Amazing and diverse breakfast.
- The house was beautifully decorated, great ambiance.
- The transfer was arranged for us.
- Such a quiet and lovely place in Santorini, away from all the chaos of Thira and Óia, though transfer service was available if booked in advance.
Well managed BnB. Huge rooms, clean, excellent host.
Huge washrooms, and almost everything available.
Hot tubs work really well and the outdoor area is especially nice.
The hosts can arrange anything and everything you want. We are thankful and they are very nice. Andriana is sweet: She ordered pizzas for us in the middle of the night and had a wine and flowers ready for us.
Very close to the heart of Santorini or the rabbit. Family bakery is excellent too!
That property location is the best on the island, if you are not into crowds and still want that Santorini experience. The host - Markos, is the best you can find. The sunset and caldera view are better than at other popular places and can be enjoyed from a private patio. There is one of the best beaches on the entire island right at the foot of the cliff (you have to hike there tho). It's a budget friendly place in a five star location
We stayed for one night after flying to Santorini, before we took the ferry to another island. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Victoria on reception. The hotel is nice but a little remote if you were staying for longer (unless you had a car), but for one night it was perfect - we walked down to the local taverna for our first authentic Greek meal of the holiday which was delicious.
Staff were very friendly, notably the gentleman working the breakfast shift and pool bar.
Lovely view of the caldera.
Breakfast was great - homemade and fresh, changed slightly every day which was a nice touch. The cheese pie was a highlight!
The food and drinks by the pool were good too - lovely pizza and cocktails.
Not too far to walk to restaurants and bars. Very close to heart of Santorini trail.
Everything was perfect on our stay at Ambeli Sunset Villas. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. They thought of every single detail to make our visit more comfortable. The property is beautiful. I could not think of a better location or setting for Santorini. Nice and peaceful and within easy reach of everything the island has to offer. We will most definitely stay here again in the future.
This boutique hotel is located at the caldera side where at this time of the year the sunset was beautiful. Location is also less touristic and very guiet but very romantic for couples. The staff especially the manager Ms. Chris was very helpful and gave us lots of tips about the surroundings. Overall our stay at Grand view hotel was fantastic.
This is the best hotel is Santorini if you want the caldera view and a very romantic room. The staff were very professional and made everyone feel at home. The restaurant and pool here makes you want to not leave and just enjoy your stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Get the Deluxe room with jacuzzi, much better than the private pool :)
Absolutely everything is top notch at Alti Santorini Suites. From arrival to departure we enjoyed the spectalur views the beautiful swimming pools, the peaceful and very quite nights. The staff were very accomodating and helpful to every request. Very highly reccommend anyone looking for a premium location and service to stay here
Everything was amazing from the first day!
The location is perfect since there is a bus stop that goes to Thira or to the beach just in front of the hotel.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind and lovely, in particular Maritina. We would strongly recommend It for a stay in Santorini and will definitely come back!
The Villa is an architectural gem, inside and out. Everything from decoration, landscaping to linens is 1st class all the way. The property overlooks the most beautiful view of the caldera and the sunsets are incredible. I highly recommend this property to make your trip to Santorini one to remember!
Beautiful view over the caldera, especially at sunset! Very friendly and helpful staff - let us leave our bags after checkout until our ferry left. Has parking outside. Nice breakfast spread delivered to the suite. Very romantic setting and good value for Santorini.
Excellent hotel and very friendly staff, the rooms are very tastefully done and comfortable, great value for money, a short walk to restaurants in megalochori and there is an excellent view of the caldera across the road, our second stay here now
Everything was terrible the location, hotel , nothing is matching to the photos and description, we had to change the hotel and lost our money and time. Our vacation was ruined. We had to pay double to get the last moment another hotel
I really like how welcoming everyone was, hotel is beautiful, great location and they provide us with all the guidance and amenities possible. Love our stay ❤️
