This location near the train station was what I was looking for, even though it meant a 20 minute walk to the historic center. The walk was pleasant. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. My clean, modern, comfortable room was an upgrade in size. I only wish I’d stayed more than one night. I left my luggage for the afternoon while I toured Ghent on foot.

The old town, the canals and the boat trips especially the hop on and hop off water bus.
The churches are fabulous as is the Van Eyk altar piece, a must. The stam museum and the fine arts museum were lovely. Do buy a city card, they are wonderful value and cover virtually everything including all public transport.

We were about 15minutes walk from centre which was ideal for us and was very straight forward to find centre. Loved our visit to the castle and would recommend the comedy audio that goes with it. Had us in stitches. Also recommend the 50 minute river trip ( there are shorter ones but 50 mins was perfect) Grab a coffee or a beer and take in the surroundings and people watch. Also recommend Grafitti street

We stayed 7 nights and planned to visit Bruges for two days and Brussels for two. In the event, we went to Bruges by train for one day but thought it wasn't as good as Ghent. On another day we drove to Zierikzee (NL). We hadn't been there since 1975 and were not disappointed. A picturesque old port with traditional bridges and harbour, nice museum and lovely cafes and shops.

The design of the lobby and rooms is very textured. The receptionist at the counter will introduce the city to tourists in detail. Most importantly, if you leave your luggage at the reception in advance, someone will help you take it to the room. This hotel is very comfortable and high quality. I will stay here again next time I visit Belgium.
Super hotel with very friendly staff. We messaged the hotel with some queries before our stay and they were very swift to reply and helpful too.
Very clean and a very nice 'feel' to the room too.
The hotel is in the perfect position to explore Ghent. Links via trams and trains to other cities in Belgium are excellent too.
The staff were incredible. We arrived and straight away got given a map where they talked us through exactly what to do and prices and everything. The recommendations couldn't have been better and because of it we have recommended Ghent and the hotel to lots of friends and family.
The location was perfect, 5 min walk from the centre as you can see from the map. This was a huge convenience, and the only reason not to leave the hotel after the first night. The staff was also great, very polite and open to any question about Ghent!
