The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Patrizia was helpful before we arrived as well as during our stay. She organized E Bikes for us, prepared a lovely breakfast with delicious cappuccinos every morning! Her restaurant suggestions were all fantastic! What a great place to stay and very reasonable. We loved Panicale!!

Everything about this hotel is first class. From the moment you walk through the door to a feeling of being home, welcomed by family. Grazie Chiara! The view from the bedroom, bathroom and terrace, takes your breath away. The rooms was quiet and the bed extremely comfortable. The shower head was a relaxing rain shower and the creams and hand wash were rich and smelled of sage and orange. It's location is excellent to explore this magnificent town. Breakfast was fresh and sumptuous and dinner was delicious, too as we watched the chef's cook. We would love to return one day as 2 days was not enough here in paradise! Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

The location was perfect within in a 3 minute walk to the square in Panicale and gorgeous views of the countryside. The accommodations were welcoming and cozy. Marcella was a very gracious host and had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us upon our arrival. Highly recommend!

We loved everything about the villa and its location. Far from the noise of the city. The owners were so kind and accomodating. We actually asked for a a late check out and they instantly said yes without any problems. They didn't even ask for the deposit, they just blindly trust us, they even brought their home made olive oils as parting gifts. We would surely return.

Paciano is a gem of a small village and this hotel was above average. We travel a lot throughout Italy and usually the staff far exceed the accommodations so you might overlook the shortcomings. This hotel is the complete package. We stayed for a week and traveled around the area. Claudio and his staff were welcoming, helpful, down to earth, and the hotel room was great. Spacious with a great view of the valley below us. Highly recommended.

The owner was very personable, kind and resourceful. He made sure I was comfortable and that I had everything I needed. I needed transport an even though it was hard to get he made sure I had it. He even took me to the train station and helped me navigate my way around. Loved that I could go downstairs to get my food, didn’t have to drive anywhere.

    I went for a concert but added on a couple of days. It is a small but beautiful medieval hilltop town with a calm relaxed atmosphere, great view of Lago Trasimeno and good restaurants (including a Michelin starred) with a range of Italian styles and cost.

    Panicale is a wonderfull old town on top of the hill with townwalls and narrow streets, and beautiful small squares. Good restaurants and even a small theatre and festival in september. Carparking on the streets close to the hotel is possible not for free. From the town panoramic views on Lake Trasimeno!

    The whole place is surrounded by olive trees with the wonderful view on Trasimeno lake. House is newly renovated, very well equipped, clean and comfortable, swimmig pool is simply great. The spacious terrace area with garden furniture is ideal for meals and evening relax - it also has marvellous view on the lake. It's a good base for visiting the nearby picturesque villages (Panicale, Paciano, Castiglione del Lago) and major cities of Umbria. The owners were very nice and helpful with everything that was needed. .

    It was a great stay at Casolare Marconi! Apartment was really spacious, beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The surrounding looked just like in the movies (olive trees and oleanders, view for historical Umbrian towns located on the hills). Owners were super nice and helpful. I recommend stay at Casolare Marconi for both families and group of friends.

    Location !! At the end of the road is this quiet and beutiful place. We had our own yard with a fantastic view of the rolling hills of Umbria. The pool was always clean and in perfect order. The hosts were always at hand and helpful if you had any questions, and also suggestions what to do or eat.

    Il Pollaio was very lovely in a great location in the utterly charming Panicale. The host was very responsive and readily available. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor courtyard was large and a great place to relax. The washing machine and drying racks were very handy.
