What an amazing find. This fantastic place is in the middle of Old Town. Everything you want and need is right at your fingertips. Luca and his family are amazing hosts and Luca will help you find whatever you require. We highly recommend this place and I would give it more than 10 stars if it was possible.

Amazing place for people which want to spend time with local people and mainly local tourists. We did not meet many people from other countries, price in restaurants are very "normal", not high like in another more popular destinations. Nice beaches, water in sea in clear and has amazing colours. City is calm but has a great offer for active tourists, is also interesting from historical point of view.
Is really worth to make a stop here, not treat Piombino only as a port in way to Elba. This city has a really nice offer. I would like to back here again.

Other than being accessible to the ferry. The town really did not have a lot to offer. Relied on public transportation which was quite good once you get the hang of it. Buy your tickets before boarding buses as they usually cost double from the driver.

Piombino is not only holiday destination, but also industrial city, sometimes were views in contrast to nice ocean scenerio.
In the evenings there was problem to find nice and free restaurant - usually you have to book your reservation in advance.
We definitely recommend a trip to Elba by ferry. Elba is perfect green with many beaches and breathtaking views.

Industrial and historical city. The industrial side let us a very bad impression of the town. Nevertheless, it was pleasant to visit the historic town. The castle, the little tower, the life : Piombino is a little and peaceful city.
Superb location in Piombino: the front door opens onto a promenade not a road, with an easy stroll down to the pier to watch the sunset; a window with a view of Elba, the ferries, and far off Montecristo if the conditions are clear; and 10 minutes walk to the railway station, which enables access to Populonia and its Etruscan sites.
Clean, a warm welcome, and a good interior layout with a small inner courtyard.
The location of the studio is amazing. Just right in the centre of Piombino, but in a street were you can't hear any noise from the outside.
Lucia was very helpful all the time, via Booking and Whatsapp. We felt we could relax, as we had always someone there to answer the phone.
The place is cosy and clean and the sofa-bed is super comfortable!
Breakfast could be better. The croissants were dry and bland. The meat/ cheese platter and eggs would be more appealing if there was a cover over them. Overall, our stay was very pleasant! Front desk employees were extremely helpful and friendly! The hotel is located in the center of shops and restaurants. Perfect for families.
Property is very central to piombino and all the shops/restaurants. The room was lovely and just what we needed. Our window over looked a little square with cafes/shops/taxis. The bed was very comfortable and air con had no problems. Easy to locate and host stayed in regular contact with us via WhatsApp. Highly recommend:)
wonderful location, short walking distance from the castle. The lady who prepared breakfast for us was extremely friendly and helpful with suggestion local attractions. Piombino and the area are beautiful (history and beaches), and we definitely would have enjoyed a longer stay. We will come back!

Had a beach view which was very nice. Mostly workers were only other guest. Food was good and good value. Parking was excellent. Hotel seemed to be having a lot of work done so lots of boxes, furniture, and other items stacked.
The staff is amazing, very friendly and gave us a lot of good suggestions for breakfast, beach spots etc. The hotel is well positioned in the city centre and there is a large car parking 2 mins walking, free of charge
The host Andrea was exceptional and went above and beyond to help with transport, things to do in Piombino, and places to get food. The location was near the ocean and facilities like the grocery store, ATM, etc.
Very nice, staff were friendly, they reccomend us pizzeria near by the hotel, we arrange with them also for earlier breakfast, which was very good. We left car on the street, no problem.
